On Christmas day I called a friend, who works for The Bethany Group, to wish her a Merry Christmas and she was in tears. Why? Because she had not received her paycheck. She had nothing to give her children for the holidays. She was too embarrassed to go to a family get together because she could not bring a covered dish to the party. Come to find out this was not the first or last time this has happened.

The Bethany Group ruined my life and the truth should be told. For those contractors, employees, residents and all other people waiting for money from The Bethany Group I advise you get a lawyer. The reason the company is going under is because the owner, Greg Garmon, tried selling his entire company because he started an oil business in Russia. Here is the info. Greed is the reason none of you are being paid. I have a question for you... Why does Greg Garmon own several homes and drive luxury cars while he waits for his company to file for bankruptcy and leaving people across the country screwed?

You are NOT an employee of the Bethany Group!!! You need to go back and look at your new hire paperwork. It states that you work for VS Mgmt and you are LEASED to the Bethany Group. It also states in there that if Bethany fails to reimburse the payroll to VS Mgmt, VS will pay you at least a minimum wage paycheck. Go after VS Mgmt. Remember that VS Mgmt is owned and operated by the brother of JEFF SILVERMAN the CFO of the Bethany Group..so yes folks its a family affair.
You should also find out if you have medical insurance right now as well. My guess is that the premiums are not being paid, so look into that too. Also remember all of the properties are under separate LLC names. The Bethany Group LLC is not on your property name(s) in your state. The LLC is also a foreign LLC.
You should be contacting every state and federal agency there is to file complaints.
DO NOT QUIT!! You will not get unemployment if you walk off the job. Look for other jobs while with them and if something comes along, go for it but do NOT just quit. Call in sick. Request vacation time if you have it but do not quit!
