Better Planet Books BP Books Seems Fraudulant Not Sure perhaps Tenessee Internet

My son was preparing for a comprehensive exam to enter a teaching program and required a study guide for the CSET Social Science exam.  The Study Guide was quite expensive on the other websites and because he is on a budget we were pleased to find Better Planet that rents out these study guides for six months for a quarter of the price. This site was actually advertised on Google which is surprising as they usually have reputable listings.  We placed an order for the rental on March 11 and received a confirmation that it was sent out on March 14th.  It was supposed to be sent via Fed Ex ground that was to take 3-6 business days. The charge for shipping was $12.95 which is hefty for a soft coverered study guide.  On this confirmation email there was a warning from Gmail saying that this message may not have been sent by betterplanthelp@gmail.com 

We just received the booklet today and it was not sent by Fed Ex but rather USPS Ground, it was sent by another company, LetTheStoriesLiveOn.com and it was completely the wrong book,FTCE: General Knowledge Tes -- Forida Teeacher Certification.  We live in California. I have not yet attempted to get a refund but I happened upon this website and noticed similar complaints.  This whole operation seems sketchy. I will now attempt to contact one of the companies and demand a refund, not a replacement.  Fortunately I paid with Paypal that may help in the dispute but after reading these other notes I doubt I'll ever see my sons investment.
