- Wyatt Howell whom was the attorney of the breeder is an unethical attorney that was the opinion of 4 other lawyers whom told me to report him to the bar association. He has very close ties with Judge Jimmy Cashion.

-If you are really angry about this and believe misjustice was done then written and getting mad and upset does no good. Take ACTION. Go online to alabar.org and write a compliant with ONLY facts ( the lawyer will get a copy of the report also) and you will have to get it notarized then turn it into the bar. You need to make sure and ask that they investigate the history of Wyatt Howell and Judge Cashion. Request to see the clear favortism.

-You are right to say that the case was decided before they went into the courtroom. My child was given to a child molester though I have a trained city cop unlike the ones in Hamilton, Al. that had a very LONG report and even a well known child phsychologist that knew my child had been ' hurt'. Judge Cashion did not talk to them... That is okay. You need to research red mange before you keep breeding red mange carriers. Not any of us breeder would ever breed a red mange carrier and if knew that a puppy or dog was bred off of a red mange line NO breeder would buy a dog from red mange lines. You can't make a dog have red mange because Hereditary predisposition is suggested. Affected dogs should be spayed/neutered to prevent passing the disease on to their offspring. Yes a red mange carrier gets stressed it will bresk out like a new home , crazy circles ninty to nothing from being raise in a tiny rabblt cage , puberty or giving birth to a litter of pups is stress full and the red mange carrier can have a out break and some cases worse than others . But the dogs has to be a red mange carrier passed on from the dam or Sire to the offspring. THE END .

Like I said Betty I won't lie for you any longer. Come clean and end this mess . People will respect you if you come clean and work the out with carters Cuties . This breeder should be shut down and run out of business. I have been to carterscuties to view the pictures of the red mange dog this breeder sold to Carter. Betty Moore should be arrested for this . She is a sick breeder that did not stand behind this red mange dog . How can she get away with this? All breeders should black ball her from the dog world. This sick breeder will have her judgement day.

This is even worse than I thought to start with . If Betty Moore replaced a dog that got killed or ran over why did she not replace a red mange dog? I can't believe she would give anyone another dog to only get ran over again and to give a puppy to a dying child ? Could you or I take care of a dying child and a new puppy ? This could not have been in the best interest for the two puppies. This is very disturbing to know that she would give dogs out or replace dogs so easy and not to replace a red mange dog that suffered a horrible death and as a dog owner I know how it feels to care for and to watch a dog suffer only to die.If this breeder was ethical and cared so about the dogs she sells and the buyer then why did this case have to go to court? Why did this case come before the dog worlds eyes ? This is unreal .

I myself bought a dog from a bad breeder here in Alabama and the puppy died and the breeder did not care and was cold hearted also. I took the puppy to the vet. and spent a bundle trying to save it . The dog had liver shunt and the breeder did just as this breeder has done .

She turned her back on me and the puppy and did not care about how I suffered or how the poor baby suffered.I gave the breeder my vets phone number also and the breeder never called my vet. This breeder did not care at all . She said she would give me my money back but never did and then she said she would give me another puppy . That has been four years ago and this breeder never did anything to make this right with me . These type of breeders should be shut down .

Deranged is an understatement. Everyone from Sheri's X-Husband to her X-Vet helped Betty on this case. Her X-Husband said she would "Lie about anything to make things go her way". Betty is in her 60's and Richard in his 70's but they are not your typical grandparent-type.

Richard has been on a farm all his life. Before he retired from 3M (42 yrs employed there), he would work on that farm past dark every night. Betty has also been a VERY hard worker and farming was a way of life when she was growing up. I know all of this because Betty is my Mom and Richard is my Step-Father.

Believe me nobody would like to see her get out of this business more than I. She drives a school bus in the morning and afternoons and spends every bit of her free time feeding and cleaning up these kennels. Sheri reported that they live in rabbit cages and that's not true at all. These kennels are built where the dog can roam free between the inside and outside of the kennel. They have door flaps that allow them to do so. And might I mention that these houses also have heat and air conditioning? Pretty upscale for "Rabbit Cages"...

My Mom has worked very hard all these years to provide for her family and the dog business has allowed her to do so. She has always been the best seller anyone could want. One time she sold a puppy that got killed and she replaced it because it broke their little girls heart and another time I remember her giving on to a young girl that was dying (cancer maybe, not sure) hoping it would just make her smile (entirely true although I know it sounds like a Hallmark card).

Sheri has mislead all of you to help her cause and I hope she can find peace with this in due time. If my Mom thought she was at all to fault in this matter she would replaced the dog or the money. As this matter went on she seen that Sheri was only out for money. And when she didn't get her way she was out to do as much damage as possible to the Kennel. Thanks for your time.

I have known Sherry her entire life and I have seen all her STRICK PROOF of RED mange . I seen that poor dog and how Sherry worried herself sick over Candy and trying to save her life .My heart went out to both Sherry and the dog .Sherry is a very honest ethical person and would have NEVER pushed this case all the way to the courts knowing that the case would be held in Betty Moores area with Betty Moore knowing EVERYONE in this TINY country area PLUS the fact that Betty Moore has plenty of money to fight AND HAD A LAWYER AND A VET> THERE . I don't believe this! You need to get your own lawyer and go to the state attorney general. It would not hurt to go to the local media, newspapers and TV too. There are strict guidlines for small claims and no lawyers is one of them. Lawyers are only allowed during an appeal, not the original case.

Well folks the court date has come and gone !! All I took with me that day 12-7-06 was ALL the proof anyone would need to win this case !! Well folks Mrs. Betty Moore was loaded and waiting to win at ANY PRICE !!! Betty Moore could NOT speak for herself because she hired a LAWYER and A VET. !! To speak for her !!! The case was held in Betty Moore's area and her Lawyer was from the same TINY town and the judge and the court house was. Betty Moore lives only 20 miles from the court house if that far. Betty Moore is in her 60's and hubby close to 70 years old . They have been in this area ALL OF THEIR lifes !! EVERY BODY KNOWS EVERY BODY in this tiny area !! SOOOOOO we will wait to see how Judge Cashion of Hamilton , Alabama rules. I pray he does the right thing and pray this is NOT the buddy system !!!

So the SNEAKY LAWYER pulled that email out saying I will never kill the mites until I get the skin test for proof and the dog was TOO sick to skin test !!! The Vet said if he did a skin test in Candy's HORRIBLE shape he would have to put STITCHES IN !!! AND WOULD NOT DO THAT !!! Well thats a Lawyer for you !!! ALL he cared about was wining that case !!!!!!!!! What he was paid to do !!!

Betty why will you not and have not replaced this dog like most all ethical breeders would have done by now . WHY ??? This is a cut and dry case . Show all strict proof then breeder should do the right thing and replace this dog . I have been sent pictures and all strict proof. You could not ask for more proof . I don't understand how you could treat a buyer this way . Is it worth all this not to replase 1 puppy?

Remember I am asking Betty these questions and Betty only . I have never met a breeder that would risk this getting out and would have nipped this in the Bud at first notice. Ethical breeders would not let this go on and would care about what pepole think and say . Betty you don't seem to care at all? I don't understand why this dog has not been replaced . Why has this problem not been solved ??? If a dog was sold by Betty Moore and 8 weeks later it broke out with Demodectic mange and there is Strick proof like the so called lady claims then why has this dog not been replaced with another one that looks just like it .She is willing to show everyone the pictures,the two vets phone numbers. vet. bills ,Skin test results . Why has this got so out of hand? Ethical breeders would replace this dog WITHOUT QUESTION with the pick of any puppy on the place.This is a sad case what the buyer and the dog suffered . A breeder with that many dogs could replace that dog and with one that looks just like it with NO problem . The is a crazy mess that is hard to comperhend .

I don't understand why the breeder won't step up to the plate and do what is right and ethical . Why would this ever be taken to court by the so called lady ?? This case should have NEVER got this out of hand and should never be in the courts .I did see Health Guaranteed on Breeders.net and please read the code of ethics that Betty agreed to ?? This dog was sold as a Breeder !!! With this being Hereditary this dog should have been replaced even if the dog was dead or alive .

I have did read all and the lady only bought this dog because it was a chocolate female chocolate factored off a chocholate stud and that was the only reason she bought this dog from Betty Moore. The so call lady never said Betty has a nasty kennel or did not feed her dogs but stated 100 dogs in rabbit cages. I have talked to people that have been there and they say this is true. Betty should not turn her back on any buyer or a buyer that bought a dog that broke out with Demodectic mange after 8 weeks. This lady did not make this dog have Demodectic mange and this dog was a carrier from birth and there is NO way around that. Hereditary predisposition is suggested. Affected dogs should be spayed/neutered to prevent passing the disease on to their offspring. Even though all pups in the litter may nor show signs of demodex, they still may be a carrier capable of passing on the disease to any offspring they produce. I think the public should go inspect the 100 dogs and then they my think twice about AKC. AKC will register pups off of brother and sister matings , mother to son, daddy to daughter and JUST ANY old way you want to register a DOG !!!! and keep on and on inbreeding them and you will get a set of AKC papers !!! So much for AKC !!! Let the people inspect the 100 dogs in rabbit cages ..There have been LARGE PUPPYMILL BUST and AKC approved .holliebellmaltese had 200 dogs inside a brick home with 3 kids in the home !!! ALL AKC !!! type in puppymill and look at all the links and you will see AKC did nothing !!!

How she sent you 2 Bichion Frise dogs up North or were ever you live now a LONG ways from Alabama and how you were unhappy with them and I think you said the dog had a bad bite and you WANTED SHOW QUALITY to show this dog . OH she sent 2 dogs all the way to your house up NORTH and you only wanted 1 dog but you ended up just keeping the other one .OH and how you could NEVER potty TRAIN one dog because they are raised on wire floors RABBIT cages !!! AND YOU sent a dog back to her after it was a adult !!!!

I try to put my trust in people and found out the facts after buying from Betty Moore !!! You told me you bought the dog to SHOW and co-owned it with someone else . There is a link on the index page linking to the AKC Report on this kennel. Nothing was wrong!!! I agree with the last post. Why would someone buy a dog from a kennel they are bashing?? Makes no sense to me. I'm another person that has known Betty, and have a dog from her kennel. I will get another dog from her, when it is time to do so. She and her family are great people.

This goes out to the so called lady bashing Mrs. Moore. I know Mrs. Moore and her family personally,they are all wonderful people. I have witnessed Mrs.Moore's kennel on many occasions, it is one of the nicest and cleanest you will find. I am having a hard time understanding why the so called lady bought a dog from a kennel that now she has so many complaints about. Think about it,would you? Please don't shy away from this kennel because of what one so called lady says,come see for yourself the AKC did today and found nothing wrong.

Betty why will you not and have not replaced this dog like most all ethical breeders would have done by now . WHY ??? This is a cut and dry case . Show all strict proof then breeder should do the right thing and replace this dog . I have been sent pictures and all strict proof. You could not ask for more proof . I don't understand how you could treat a buyer this way . Is it worth all this not to replase 1 puppy?

Remember I am asking Betty these questions and Betty only . I have never met a breeder that would risk this getting out and would have nipped this in the Bud at first notice. Ethical breeders would not let this go on and would care about what pepole think and say . Betty you don't seem to care at all? I don't understand why this dog has not been replaced . Why has this problem not been solved ??? If a dog was sold by Betty Moore and 8 weeks later it broke out with Demodectic mange and there is Strick proof like the so called lady claims then why has this dog not been replaced with another one that looks just like it .She is willing to show everyone the pictures,the two vets phone numbers. vet. bills ,Skin test results . Why has this got so out of hand? Ethical breeders would replace this dog WITHOUT QUESTION with the pick of any puppy on the place.This is a sad case what the buyer and the dog suffered . A breeder with that many dogs could replace that dog and with one that looks just like it with NO problem . The is a crazy mess that is hard to comperhend .

I don't understand why the breeder won't step up to the plate and do what is right and ethical . Why would this ever be taken to court by the so called lady ?? This case should have NEVER got this out of hand and should never be in the courts .I did see Health Guaranteed on Breeders.net and please read the code of ethics that Betty agreed to ?? This dog was sold as a Breeder !!! With this being Hereditary this dog should have been replaced even if the dog was dead or alive .

I have did read all and the lady only bought this dog because it was a chocolate female chocolate factored off a chocholate stud and that was the only reason she bought this dog from Betty Moore. The so call lady never said Betty has a nasty kennel or did not feed her dogs but stated 100 dogs in rabbit cages. I have talked to people that have been there and they say this is true. Betty should not turn her back on any buyer or a buyer that bought a dog that broke out with Demodectic mange after 8 weeks. This lady did not make this dog have Demodectic mange and this dog was a carrier from birth and there is NO way around that. Hereditary predisposition is suggested. Affected dogs should be spayed/neutered to prevent passing the disease on to their offspring. Even though all pups in the litter may nor show signs of demodex, they still may be a carrier capable of passing on the disease to any offspring they produce. If a dog was sold by Betty Moore and 8 weeks later it broke out with Demodectic mange and there is Strick proof like the so called lady claims then why has this dog not been replaced with another one that looks just like it .She is willing to show everyone the pictures,the two vets phone numbers. vet. bills ,Skin test results . Why has this got so out of hand? Ethical breeders would replace this dog WITHOUT QUESTION with the pick of any puppy on the place.This is a sad case what the buyer and the dog suffered . A breeder with that many dogs could replace that dog and with one that looks just like it with NO problem . The is a crazy mess that is hard to comperhend .

I don't understand why the breeder won't step up to the plate and do what is right and ethical . Why would this ever be taken to court by the so called lady ?? This case should have NEVER got this out of hand and should never be in the courts .I did see Health Guaranteed on Breeders.net and please read the code of ethics that Betty agreed to ?? This dog was sold as a Breeder !!! With this being Hereditary this dog should have been replaced even if the dog was dead or alive .

I have did read all and the lady only bought this dog because it was a chocolate female chocolate factored off a chocholate stud and that was the only reason she bought this dog from Betty Moore. The so call lady never said Betty has a nasty kennel or did not feed her dogs but stated 100 dogs in rabbit cages. I have talked to people that have been there and they say this is true. Betty should not turn her back on any buyer or a buyer that bought a dog that broke out with Demodectic mange after 8 weeks. This lady did not make this dog have Demodectic mange and this dog was a carrier from birth and there is NO way around that. Hereditary predisposition is suggested. Affected dogs should be spayed/neutered to prevent passing the disease on to their offspring. Even though all pups in the litter may nor show signs of demodex, they still may be a carrier capable of passing on the disease to any offspring they produce. Serious infection by Demodectic mange does require a trip to the Vet. As this can be life threatening.

I think the public should go inspect the 100 dogs and then they my think twice about AKC. AKC will register pups off of brother and sister matings , mother to son, daddy to daughter and JUST ANY old way you want to register a DOG !!!! and keep on and on inbreeding them and you will get a set of AKC papers !!! So much for AKC !!! Let the people inspect the 100 dogs in rabbit cages ..There have been LARGE PUPPYMILL BUST and AKC approved .holliebellmaltese had 200 dogs inside a brick home with 3 kids in the home !!! Makes no sense to me. I'm another person that has known Betty, and have a dog from her kennel. I will get another dog from her, when it is time to do so. She and her family are great people.

I have witnessed Mrs.Moore's kennel on many occasions, it is one of the nicest and cleanest you will find. I am having a hard time understanding why the so called lady bought a dog from a kennel that now she has so many complaints about. Think about it,would you? Demodectic Mange:
Also known as Red Mange
Demodectic Mange is caused by a microscopic mite called Demodex Canis. The mite is so tiny it cannot be seen by the naked eye. This kind of mange usually strikes puppies from three to 12 months old. Many puppies have the mite in the pores of their skin and the mange will remain dormant.
But it is also possible that some purebred dogs carry lowered resistance to the mites, and that stress can trigger an active infestation.

Symptoms include thinning of the hair around the eyes and mouth and on the front legs that evolves into patches of hair loss approximately one inch in diameter The dog's skin is sore, crusty, and oozing; the hair follicles are clogged with mites and debris. This mange may correct itself within three months or may require treatment.

Hereditary predisposition is suggested. Affected dogs should be spayed/neutered to prevent passing the disease on to their offspring. Even though all pups in the litter may nor show signs of demodex, they still may be a carrier capable of passing on the disease to any offspring they produce.

Localized cases can be treated with Neem Oil, Neem Shampoo and Supplements, which help boost the immune system. Animals with small, local lesions usually recover well without recurrence. Boosting the immune system and a change in diet to a more healthy food are also recommended.

Immune suppressed dogs need a high quality all natural, dry, cooked or raw diet. Add lots of raw pulverized vegetables. Such as dark green vegetables, cruciferous vegetables- broccoli, cauliflower, cabbage, watercress, bok choy, and carrots (blanche carrots for 1 minute to release carotenes). Also consider adding Kelp to the diet. Avoid grains like wheat and rye- rice ,barley and oats are ok.

Serious infection by Demodectic mange does require a trip to the Vet. As this can be life threatening.

Your dog usually will look worse for 2-4 weeks after treatment is begun because of the hairs that are already affected when treatment has begun. Recovery can take a minimum of 6-12 weeks in most cases.

NO BREEDER Should breed any dog that has had the red mange! The dog should surely not be sold unless it's spaded! She isn't an ethical Breeder. This gives not only her a bad reputation but it makes it hard on other ethicial breeders as well. It's terrible that she knew this!! Still sold the dog!! I know and she knows she should replace the dog. Maybe the USDA needs to be contacted?? They need to go look at her place for sure.

This puppy should have been replaced with another puppy and Sherry should be paid back for her vet bills. If Betty only had AKC registered puppies Betty should have given Sherry an AKC puppy to replace the other one, Betty does sell her puppies with a health guarantee, but it is not worth the paper it is written on because she has not made up this puppy sold under her health guarantee. Red Mange is hereditary Betty knows this and knows that some of these puppies will die a horrible death. suffering all over thier body with no relief.

Betty can only continue selling puppies if there are people willing to buy her puppies. I would not buy any puppy from her no matter the breed or price. Who wants to get thier money and emotions tied up in a sick puppy. It is not worth the risk.

I believe Betty should have to pay for all the time and money lost in this case. Take her to court with all the pics, bills, and info you can come up with on red mange she should be made to pay legally. They should not allow her to continue to sell puppies either.

I would like to see the pictures, and maybe the vet records. I am not at all saying that you are not telling the truth, but I would like to see the proof. I have had people come on this web site and post some false comments about me and my family (dogs included), I wonder if someone asked them for proof what they would say.

I feel very sorry for the puppy and you as well. It is very sad when someone takes your money and gives you a sick animal. I bought a dog with the same thing, she too had red mange. I bought her from a different breeder then, then you bought yours. I trusted the breeder when she told me that the dog had a reaction to some flea dip and bought the dog anyway. I took her by the vet on the way home and it turned out it was the red mange. When I called the breeder she did not care and would not give me back my money. I too spent an arm and a leg to give her a better life.I feel for you and what you have had to go through. Its not easy to get attached only to fight for their lives and loose.

Its very sad for me to think about that man breeding that female again. He is setting up these poor puppies to live a short and misrable life. Which is not ethical to me.

In this world and the breeding world there are good people out there who breed to better the breed (even those who do things the right way and care about their animals can be trashed on here, which is why I would like to see the pictures and vet records) and there are those who only care about the money and because of the bad people animals suffer.

Maybe you should contact AKC and tell them about this. I am not too sure if it will do any good or not but it may be worth a shot.
