Back in mid April there was a lot of buzz going on about bit coin miners and one of the up and coming hardware manufatures seemed to be BF Labs Inc, AKA Butterfly Labs Inc. I did some research and found that they had pre-orders from june of 2012 that they had not even started fufilling but according to their website production problems where getting solved and they expected to get through the back log of orders by the end of June to mid July.

I jumped on board and pre-ordered a product with those expectations. Then i started waiting. It was exciting to see them start shipping orders and see the progress, even though it was very slow at the start. I expected based on their original estimates that production would increase and they would get through the back log. The june came and whent and they were still no where near shipping my order. July came and went and based on community estimates they were still 8 months to 1 year off from shipping my product. August comes and goes and still we have barely moved closer. 

At this point I contact their customer service agents to request a cancel and refund, as the hardware that i requested is now useless to me in the market as they took way longer than expected to ship the product. I was told that all sales are final and they dont know when my order will ship. At this point I filed a complaint with the BBB to which BFL responded saying that a large user base was trying to gain the system by requesting refunds in full amounts of bit coins paid. Even though I statated that made my purchase with credit card. In their response they again said that they hope to be through their backlog by the end of september. Since filing that report they have only moved a few days in their backlog and have still not shipped my order.

This company has very poor customer service and will lie to you over and over to avoid at all costs giving your money back. Anyone considering a purchase from this company should go to another manufacture.
