 I was referred to bidz by a friend who gave me the coupon code for 25.00 off of my first order. Well after I spent 2 days bidding on the things I wanted I went to check out to find that bidz.com is not allowing me to use the coupon. What it tells me is what I posted up top. But I meet both the criteria.
 Then it was such great prices I decided to pay anyway but as I got towards the end and checked over my total due I saw they were charging me an outrageous amount for shipping on one item so I went back and unclicked it and went through the check out process again and low and behold a different item that was 1.50 for shipping was now 4 times that amount-it would have cost me much more in shipping than the item was going to cost. I did this with each item deleting one at a time and each time it would switch the large shipping amount of an item that I decided not to click on and pay for at that time on to one I still was going to buy.
 Something is not ok about a company that charges outrageous amounts for shipping and will not let you use a valid coupon that they offered. I feel like they ARE A HUGE FRAUD.
 I also tried to email them and have received no response at all about the coupon that shows it should be valid but is telling me that I do not meet one of the two posted requirements.
 I also received many emails which went to my spam box because they were sending them to everyone who had made a bid on each of the 5 items stating that the winner dropped his bid (you cannot drop your bid) and that if I wanted to buy it I could to send them the amount I was willing to pay and they would send me an email back telling me how to pay and so on. What was not right about this is they didnt tell me what the item was just gave a number so there is no way for me to know what item it was they were even talking about and every item I had bid on and lost someone else had one and each item had a different winner so how can one person email me 5 times saying the same thing and not even tell me what item it was and have ALL of his winners drop out especially when there is no way to back out of these.
 Here is that email. I received the same one 5 times but each had a different item number. There is no way to check for an item number. The only number shown on these are auction numbers and none of those matched any of the ones on these emails.

After reading all of the complaints I refuse to give them my credit card number especially since they cannot or are not willing to hold up there end on their coupon which is still good and I do meet the criteria for.

Thank you for taking the time to provide feedback about your purchase and we offer our sincere apologies that you were unsatisfied with your purchase. We assure you that we treat all customer feedback seriously. We wanted to address a few of the issues mentioned in your post.


        The coupon you attempted to use has criteria that has to be
met in order for it to apply. Judging by the copy of the message that
you have, you
did not meet one of the following requirements: a minimum of $250
merchandise total required, item(s) have to be won on the auction (no special
offers, manually added items or second chance offers).


        The larger amount you were trying to unclick was the main charge for shipping, for the whole order. The smaller amounts you saw such as the $1.50 are the individual handling fees for those items. Even if you were to go back and unclick that item that the shipping charge will remain, it will go randomly on another item you are checking out because that is the shipping fee. Below we provide a link to our shipping section where you can confirm the information we have given you.

3.Email offers:

        After going over and inspecting the copy of the email offer you received we would like you to know that those emails are not sent by Bidz. Those emails are sent  by people that can go on any auction website,click on the bidding history and retrieve your username. They just plug it in any common email provider such as (username)+ @yahoo.com,msn.com,gmail.com etc. and email you with a random offer. We have a section on our website advising customers NOT to use their email as
their username to prevent this from happening. Please know that we are doing everything that we can to protect the customer and ourselves from these phishing emails.
