I was bidding ojn a watch on this auction site and it had been on for several days and was scheduled to end at 12:00 my time.I was high bidder and the time ran out and it said I was the winner.
I didnt receice confirmation from them so went back to the site and they had put it back on for 6 more hours.
I have had problems with this site before,I had bought a watch from them that they said was new and when I got it,it didnt run and I took it to the jeweler and he said the watch was used ,it even had a repair number on the case inside. When I let them know they did refund my money but after a big hazzle and I was treated very rudely by the lady in customer service. My sister has been looking for a watch so Iwas bidding on this one for her and have emailed the company several times about the auction ending and that I was the high bidder, even scanned the page that said auction over and that i was the winner and have heard nothing from them.

bidz.com has been attacked by hackers

AUTHOR: igor@bidz.com - ()

POSTED: Monday, December 02, 2002

Dear Judy,

Within the last few weeks, our site at www.bidz.com has been attacked by hackers. For a period of 6-12 hours, most of our users were not able to log in to place any bids. After numerous requests from customers like yourself, we've extended all of our auctions 6 hours to show curtesy for all of our customers, specially the ones that tried to log in and bid during the attack with no success.

We hope that you understand why it had to be done and hope that you will find our site time and money saving.

We apologize for your inconvenience and would like to offer you a $10 discount on your next purchase at Bidz.com.

Thank you.
