I just found out I Will Not Be Paid Because Of A "24 Hour Rule" !!!! (Yep, They're CRIMINALS) I have been doing demonstraion work since 2002. Usually, you mail in your paper work and get paid 30 days. This company will tell you in 48 hours WE ARE NOT PAYING YOU !!!! Also, If you cancel a job because your "sick", Big Orange Productions WILL CHARGE YOU $25 !!! In addition to the $25 charge, you will be charged a $25 restocking fee !!!!! There are people literally working to get out of Big Orange Productions's INDENTURED SERVENT HOLE !!!! Run !!!! Tell Your Friends To STAY AWAY !!!! A Company That Changes It's Name 2-3 Times In 10 Years CAN'T BE TRUSTED !!!! Don't Waste Your Time !!! You Have Be WARNED !!!! P.s. If you are a Lawyer In Rhode Island.....SUE THEM !!!

Hello,
I am replying to clear up a few things here. First, Big Orange Productions is not The Sunflower Group. We are separate companies who do business together. We have not changed our name in our 16 year operating history either.
I believe the 48 hour notice you are referring to is our automated missing paperwork notice. Missing paperwork notices are sent out to staff who we do not have a report for on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday following the event date. These notices are to inform event staff that we are missing a required report form, time sheet etc. and cannot pay them if we do not receive it.
The $25 fee for canceling is explained in the Independent Contractor Agreement. When a brand ambassador cancels with less than 24 notice this fee is put in to place. The $25 cancellation fee allows us the funds necessary to pay another brand ambassador more to cover the job at the last minute. We have 0 staff who are working for us for free to pay back fees. That is not how we operate nor have we ever operated this way.
