Today 07/08/2014 at 2:51pm I received a call from Viking Magazine Service and I was told that I've won a $250 gift card, so the way that this call was approached was asking for my name they wanted to make sure I was the person, my adress where I was living the representative "Eva" that was her name told me that I won a $250 dollars gift card and that also I was selected to go into a drawing for an Ipad that cost $ 500 dollars that the drawing will end up in August 31 so she wish me luck and said we only going to contact you by phone or e-mail and I said yeah I have an e-mail and she said by facebook only and I said okay then she said you

can choose 5 magazines that you like and I said which ones do you have and she said um Rachael Ray and I said yes I like Rachael Ray and parenting magazine because we where taking about that I have a baby and then she said you can use your gift card however you wanted for your baby you can by clothing for you baby, jewelry, electronics from our website and she said you only have to pay $ 3.88 a week for the magazines in order to receive the gift card, you will be receiving 8 gift cards I will send you our package today were you can also download games puzzles, games ect.. and then Eva said let me transfer you to my supervisor

because I'm new to this then right away I talk to Isaac her supervisor he pretty much told me that I've won the gift card and that in order for me to received it I have to pay 3.88 a week and a month I would have to pay $15.51 for 60 months and that if I didn't like it I had 14 days to cancel it and I told him I don't work I'm a full-time mommy and he said are you single or married? and I said married he said what does your husband does and I told him and how much does he does a month just an estimate and I so told him then he said okay so you.can make a payment of $ 41 dollars and something ( I don't remember how many cents

Isaac told me) you will have to pay 20 weeks and the rest 40 weeks you don't have to worry about, you dont have to pay it right now and he asked for my date of birth and also the name of the company that my husband works at and and how many years he has been working for the company then Isaac asked me that if I carried a Visa or Master Card and I told him are you guys going to transfer the money to my card? And Isaac said "no this is just to know if you are a card holder and I said I have a visa card and he said in what bank and I told him so he said it start with a 4 and then asked me for the expiration date, the last 4 numbers of

my card and the rest of the numbers in my card so I gave him a pre-paid card number and said yeah you are a card holder but is a pre-paid card and we don't accept it do you have another one?and I provided him my Master Card Isaac said it starts with a 5 and what are the last 4 numbers so I gave him the rest of the numbers and Isaac said yeah your a card holder and I said but I don't want to pay for the magazines and he said in order to get this gift card you have to pay for the magazines, and I said but my husband cannot afford to pay the $ 41 dollars I could pay the 15 dollars one time and the cancel it but he said no it's easier if you

pay the 41 dollars and you don't have to worry about anything else plus you can change the magazines to the ones you like the most you will be receiving you package within 2-5 business days you know because we are very far we are in Minnesota, so I told Isaac the superviser hold on let me call my husband to see if he wants to pay for it and I ask him so whats your name again and he said Isaac and I said and where you are calling from and he said Biking Magazine and so I told him okay can you wait 1or 2 minutes? and he said yes then rigth away I called my bank and explain to them what happened that I provided my card information to Biking

Magazine and the bank agent comfirmed that Biking Magazine Service took $1 dollar and that it was in process so I told my agent to right away cancel my bank card that I didn't want this company to take any money out of my account and she cancel my bank account by the moment that my bank agent hang up my called with Isaac was disconnected I couldn't a hold of him because he gave the wrong number 1-800-839-9492 and also dial the number that they use to called me when I received the phone call.

This number is from california where I'm currently living 559-259-3001 and to my surprise when I called a man answer the phone call and ask for Eva since ahe was the first one that I talk to but he said " you have the wrong number". I search the phone number and adress of this company and I founded , now my worries are to start receiving this magazines which I never agree to buy or receive and that I would have to pay for something that I verbally never agree to buy. I need help on this issue!

You gave too much info to a stranger on the phone

You have been set up for ID Theft by that company. Take a look at the FTC(dot)gov website so you can see what to do. They now have all of you and your husbands info to open up other credit accounts. Never, never give all that info to a stranger over the phone - especially since it is an obvious scam.

You will need to change your bank account (get a new one) and shut down the cards you gave him. Call the credit cards and speak to the fraud department. File a police report. File a report with the FTC. Freeze your credit so no one can open up other accounts in your name. The whole thing is a scam to get your ID and you provided it. Make sure to shut down your accounts right away.
