We saw Mr Dollard's home advertised on MLS and called him to see if we could setup a meeting to view his home to purchase it without an agent. Mr Dollard agreed and met us at the home and walked us throught the home and agreed to sell us the home with a few upgrades. This was April 10, 2017. He informed us he would have his Atty. contract our atty and send a contract and we would then send him a deposit for the home so he could finish the home and we could move in within 60 days . We also agreed with Mr. Dollard that we would fly back to New York from our home in Maryland in May to meet with his Kitchen / Cabinet people and pick out the cabinets and counters . We flew to New york in early May and picked out all the cabinets and counters and singed off on the sheet for the people who forwarded it to Mr. Dollard . As of May 1, 2017 we still had not received a contract from his atty. Throught a series of e mails we final got his atty to send our atty. a contract which was so badly written , out atty had to re write the contract at our own cost and submit back to Mr . Dollard. This all was signed by us and done with a bank check sent back to Mr. Dollard's atty . on June 27, 2017.
From that day until Today July 18, 2018 we have not heard a word back from his atty. . Our atty has reached out to Mr. Dollard's Atty , Davis & Prager PC multi time via e mails and vocie , but have never heard back from them .
We have reached out to Mr Dollard also multi times via e mail and voice but all he has done is make promises he will take care of everything , but has done nothing. He has lied and lead us down a path of spending money and telling us the house is ours and he is working on it .
We now have found out his brother has listed our home on MLS , so it looks like he never was gioing to sell the home to us .
We have spend 90 days and over $15, 000 in costs ,(storage fees , hotel , and legal fees).
I would advise anyone who might be considing doing business with this group to research their past history
