Bill Heard Chevrolet Do Not Honor Chevrolet's Guarantee, Rip-Off!, Good reason forLemon Law! Sanford Florida

Bill Heard Chevrolet does not honor Chevrolet's Guarantee! I took my 1996 Corvette to Bill Heard Chevrolet for service. The reason I began going there was they hired a service manager that was excellent with Corvettes.

The service manager had been the only person to ever work on either of our Corvettes. The 1996 vette was having a problem that it showed more gas in the tank then was actually there. I reported this problem over and over again. Finally the problem was diagnosed. Conveniently right after the extended warrantee expired. Since this problem had been reported over and over again it should have been covered under the warrantee.

Bill Heard said they would have done it even though Chevrolet was not going to however since the original diagnoses was done at another Chevrolet dealer, they would not honor the warranty. There is no reason for them not to honor it. The reports of the problem are all diagnosed in the computer print out for our car which is available to any Chevrolet dealer. They do not want to honor the warranty.

This causes me great concern because not only have they ripped me off to the tune of 1,200.00 but our other Corvette now has a problem that they cannot seem to find a reason or a cure for. Actually this problem is documented all over the Corvette forum but Chevrolet cannot or does not want to repair the problem.

My concern-is they will let this one go as well. I have the ability to sue and may do so but I will let the Florida's Lemon Law take care of the new problem if I have to take it in again.
