BilliardEx Purchasing Pool Table without Additional Charge of $350.00 or $600.00 for one of our own installers Will NULL & VOID POOL TABLE Warranty Midvale, Utah Internet

I purchased a Pool table for my husband on 12/1/08 @ 8:30pm .I was very excited because it was his Christmas present and I was very pleased with the price $1,599 with tax it all came out for $1649.98 and that amount was in my budget, so I ordered the table and I opted out of the installation because i only had enough for the table and in these hard times, I would just build the table myself. I mean how hard could it be????

So on 12/2/08 9am a Heather from Bilitrex calls me to inform me that the table is a great purchase but that I had opted out of the installation that was an additional fee for installation of $350 for the cheapest & 600.00 for the most expensive and that I would lose warranty on the table because they were not responsible if I installed it incorrectly and I asked her is it that difficult to build? She said Yes it is and our installers do a great job, so I immediately told her "Well I did not realize that the building of the Pool Table was so detailed. I was planning on building it myself and now i see that is impossible, I would like to cancel my order and thank you for calling me to explain.

So @ 10am Heather calls me back to inform me that her boss was willing to work with me and that the table would still be under warranty if I built it myself, I called her back and informed her again, "Thank you again for the offer but I am not willing to deal with such a hard installation on my own .I wanted to surprise my husband and i am unable to if the installation is so hard. I watched the Video you have on the site and it did not seem that hard but since you expressed your concern I again told her just cancel the order I am no longer interested. Thank You" .I asked her when I would see the money back into my account and she said that the card had been charged and that it would be returned with in 3 to 5 buisness days. At no time did she tell me that there was a restocking fee for canceling.

@ 4:20 her boss called me to again explain to me how he would honor my purchase without the additional installation fee and that I could build it myself, I explained to him that Heather had discouraged me from purchasing the table because she had expressed how hard it was to install myself and told him thank you for trying so hard. So that is when he got nasty. He told me that there would be a restocking fee because from 12/1/08 @ 8:30pm that I ordered it to 12/2/08 9am they had already started building the table and that they would have to charge me 10% of the only money I had for the Pool table for my husband. I mean I explained to him I did not have money and that he was not going to scare me into purchasing the table that it was his employee that discouraged me. I told him i was going to call my credit card and cancel the order on my own if he did not and he then told me well you can do that but when I show your credit card your contract they will honor us and you will pay more for something you wont even have. you should really reconsider your decision on the pool table Mr. C, I told him NO!!! that I was going to proceed.

I still don't know what the outcome for this purchase but he made it very clear and made sure I knew I was not getting all my money back. but i do advise anyone buying from BilliardEx.com to make sure you have an extra 350.00 or 600.00 for installation because it is very difficult to build these pool tables according to Heather. & The Warranty will be NUll and void if you do it wrong.

This company was not willing to work with me and the Supervisor was trying to intimidate me because I was a woman, so I think a man should purchase it because they don't respect women either. He tried to use his brawn in order to keep me from canceling my order.
