BILLINGSVC.COM/ BILLINGSVC I ordered xp antivirus protection for $49.95.. they charged my credit card $114.95 Internet

I paid $49.95 for xp antivirus protection. The program never downloaded to my computer. This company got their money plus.. because they charged my credit card $114.95 to BILLINGSVC.COM

I never got the program.

My computer was infected with spyware and a pop-up message warned me that I had several viruses. The 'free' scan showed severe infections with the only removal through XP Antivirus 08 (which showed the icon for Windows Security). However, when the order form appeared it was not through MS but a realistic web page called Software Support Service with a picture of an official looking operator (headset and all).

I checked it out a few times and it appeared to be the real thing - but when I ordered the software and went to download IT DID NOT download.

I just read other Ripoff Reports stating others have also been charged the same type of fees. I was given an invoice with an order number with the support phone # but when I attempted to print it out my computer froze and I had to restart it and lost everything.

That's when I began to get suspicious and realized that I had been scammed. I am currently disputing the charges with the credit card co. and hope that by filing this complaint (and seeing other complaints) this will be substantial evidence to get these people. They are copying icons and logos from Microsoft to give the impression that are selling valid XP operating system software antivirus !
