We signed a contract in Feb 2007 for Bimanic Studio Productions to provide DJ services for our wedding ceremony and reception on 09/08/07. At the time, Tim Andrews, the owner and individual to provide this service mentioned we could meet in early spring to discuss preparations. We paid a $175 deposit per contract. We sent a list of dates and times to meet with Tim who verbally agreed to get back to us promptly.

After hearing no response from the DJ, we attempted to contact him numerous times through voicemails and emails from which we heard no response. When we finally were able to reach him (during a wedding DJ gig nonetheless) contradictory responses and false promises of setting up a meeting were given. He accused the bride of "freaking out" for no reason. He told us to again send him another list of dates that we were available to meet and said "I swear to God I'll call you tomorrow!." Of course we never heard from him.

After spending extensive time sending open dates, we again heard no response from Tim Andrews. Our phone and email messages were never returned as it neared the date of the wedding.

At the two month mark, we contemplated cancelling as a result of this DJ's evasive behavior, ultimately questioning the credibility of Bimanic Studios. On July 8th during a phone call made to him, he was extremely rude saying that there was no reason for us to meet this early while acting as if he went beyond the call of duty to return our call. On this same day, we officially canceled the contract per phone call to Tim Andrews.

On July 14th, we sent our address again and put the confirmation in writing, requesting a refund. His potentially unconscionable contract stated that only $75 dollars of the deposit would be given back if we canceled within two months of the wedding date. We requested a full refund as result of this poor service rendered.

Nonetheless, he returned our call stating that he would get the money back within two weeks to a month at the absolute latest. After a month, we followed up and he denied telling us he would refund our money within this time frame and said that instead he would refund our money after the wedding and that he just had to cash a few checks first!

It has now been five months since our cancellation and we do not believe he will return our deposit. We have even reported him the the Better Business Bureau and State Attorny General with no response from the DJ to letters from these reporting agencies.

We believe that Tim Andrews of Bimanic Studios had no intention of showing up for the wedding and only intended to fraudulently steal our deposit.
