I bought the ActiPatch for my back pain and my wife bought the Allay for her menstrual cramps, and I must say that I feel so ashamed of myself for falling for this outrageous scam. These items are complete crap. It's actually a wire attached to nothing...I felt no pain relief at all...ZERO.

I did a little more research and I found some other information about this company - they're pubically traded and there's some scams going on in that arena too. Look up BIEL stocks. They stopped reporting their finances, because they're not even a real company. What a hoax.

Setting the record straight

AUTHOR: R.A. - (United States)

POSTED: Monday, July 18, 2022

The Actipatch works via PEMF, Pulsed ElectroMagnetic Fields. PEMF works differently than TENS units, no electrical sensation is felt because Actipatch works on a fraction of the power that TENS uses. I have been using them for years for chronic lower back pain, knee pain and carpal tunnel. Some new users of Actipatch become discouraged if they don't feel immediate relief as they might get from taking a drug. Everyones body chemistry is unique and the reasons they are experiencing pain are unique.

It took 58 years for my back pain to develope so I did not expect it to correct itself after an hour with the Actipatch. I started to feel relief after two days of continuous use, After a week with Actipatch I was impressed with the activity I could handle with little or no pain. Today I wear the device the night before I will be doing strenuous activity and during the activity, the rest of the time my back is feeling very good for a 65 year old.

I did a lot of research on Bioelectronics Corp, the company that makes Actipatch, here is what I found:

The company was fully SEC reporting fom 2002 until 2010.

The company is still a "real company" but they moved to the OTC Markets 'Current Information' status to conserve money as the SEC reporting was costing too much for a small company to afford. Financials are filed every quarter and EOY.

Bioelectronics Corp has been Cleared by the FDA for use on specific Medical Indications including; Muscloskeletal Pain, OA of the Knee, Post Surgical Pain, Plantar Fasciitis, Eyelid Surgery. Scam medical device companies don't bother with FDA Clearance they sell as a Wellness Product, that has no FDA reviewed evidence of efficacy on any Medical Conditions.

In addition to their FDA Clearance Actipatch has been Approved for sale in Europe under the CE Mark regulatory system.

I have been using the Actipatch for years to relieve pain in back, knees, shoulders. On 2/3/2017 the FDA Approved Actipatch for US Over the Counter sales, confirming that it is an effective, non drug pain reliever.

US FDA Cleared/Clinical Evidence

AUTHOR: BioElectronics Corporation - (USA)

POSTED: Wednesday, February 15, 2017

This consumer likely failed to follow the instructions for use for our product.  The product is both clinically proven www.bielcorp.com/clinical-evidence/ and US FDA cleared for the adjunctive treatment of musculoskeletal pain related  to plantar fasciitis of the heel and osteoarthritis of the knee.  Additionally, it has 67k fans on Facebook (as of 2/15/07) primarily in the UK where it is regularly a top selling item on amazon.co.uk and at Boots, Lloyds, Superdrug and Gordons Chemist stores.

You can learn more about the technology behind ActiPatch at www.bielcorp.com or www.actipatch.com

The above allegation is untrue and libelous

AUTHOR: Truthfully - (United States of America)

POSTED: Saturday, September 17, 2011

I have been using the Actipatch for my back for two years and it does work. It helps me manage the pain I have from chronic low back pain. If it didn't work they won't have won the Wall Street Journal's 2009 Innovation Award. http://bielcorp.com/2009/09/bioelectronics-wins-wall-street-journal-2009-innovation-award/  The FDA would have never approved it for use over the eye to decrease bruising and swelling after plastic surgery. http://bielcorp.com/understanding-pain-solutions/clinical-evidence/actipatch-for-the-treatment-of-plantar-fasciitis/  They are presently waiting for over the counter use from the FDA. You can even buy stock in the company. The symbol is BIEL. Good luck and don't believe the allegation of the above poster. Their products work great!
