BJ's Bait and Tackle, LLC B J's Bait & Tackle LLC Extremely poor customer service, rude, belligerent, and deceitful. South Haven Minnesota

I was one of many in my party that reserved a pontoon two months before the day scheduled to be rented. At the time the rental was reserved, the person making the reservation asked about "music on the water", an event put on by a local lake association, the reason we were renting the pontoon.  The employee at BJ's who was taking down the rental information said this event was to take place on July 6th, the day we set up the rental.

The monday before the day of the rental, the same person who set up the rental, called BJ's to ask what time the band started on July 6th and the employee at BJ's said 3 o'clock. On the day of the rental, we were told by another BJ's employee that the band to play on June 6th, played the weekend before the weekend of the 6th.  Right after being told we were a week late (because we were miss led by a BJ's employee twice), we confronted a worker named Kelsey. She was extremely rude and very short with everybody in our party from the start. She had an attitude that was horrible, stomping, shouting and not at all caring about the customers who she is there to help out.  Just the reaction expected out of a 6 year old not wanting to go to bed.  Extremly unexpected and alarming.  

We then asked to talk to the owner Bill Hohenstein who we were told is not on the premisis and we could only get a hold of him during business hours. But to no surprise, we were once again lied to and he miraculusly showed up.  To say it politely, he was extremely rude as well! He used vulguar language and didn't do anything as far as customer service or helping us resolve our issue.  Almost seemed as if he confronted up looking for something to argue about.  He said he has plenty of business and didn't need ours.  He also said this is the first he has experienced this sort of thing even though there have been many negative reviews on Bill's company, BJ's Bait, and once again we were lied to.  

The flippant attitude displayed by BJ's Bait & Tacle LLC owner Bill Hohenstein was extremely unprofessional, an example he displayed infront of employees and other customers.  It is apparent Bill has more money than he knows what to do with and doesn't need any more business, as displayed with the way he poorly handled this situation.  While it's not a crime to act in a manner the way Mr. Hohenstain and his employees did, it is a crime these people are of such small minds that they think their actions have no lasting consequences.
