Although the media confirmed attendance, outside situations prevented them from attending.

Many media attendees complained that the event warehouse was difficult to find and there was traffic due to a bicycle race.

As any good publicist knows, it is impossible to guarantee media attendance as we don't control their schedules. We drafted a media alert and received responses in favor of the event, but unfortunately outside circumstances did not allow for coverage.

We offered the client to host private media appointments (Miami Herald and Onboard Media) but the Client demanded a refund.
