Blockbuster Video ripoff the business that doesn't give a dam Des Plaines Illinois

Blockbuster got tired of people crying about when "A Day" was so they rewrote there policeys to make it where you cheap lazy people don't have to pay a late fee any more. the new policys are you get 2 days for a new release and if you don't return it in 1 week after the due dat you are charged the coast of the video the same for older movies only you get a whole week and then the timer startsfor a week and if you return it after you have been charged you have to pay a restalking fee.

Now when i go to Blockbuster it is harder to get a good movie to rent cuz you lazy cheap A$$HOLES have made blockbuster change everthing.

There's a difference between making profits and being greedy. I've been to video stores where I've been a day late and not charged a late fee. Apparently they value a good, regular customer, instead of a number. I used to be a regular at Blockbuster, but quit 2 years ago. I suggest you find a smaller chain or local Mom & Pop place.

All video rental stores do this, and have since they first opened. For you, it IS about the small difference between 12 and 1. It's the difference between PAYing a late fee, or not.

I'll bet you are a real hoot when you check out of a Hotel. They all have posted check-out times around 10-11 in the morning. Most have a check-in time posted as well...usually around 2-4 in the afternoon. This means you pay for a "day", and get about 20 hours, unless you stay longer than overnight. Apparently, they do not know about a "day" as you have come to understand it either.

I'll educate you. A "day" for business puposes is whatever that business wants it to be. This is why businesses use the term "business day". Banks use their own "day". All businesses do. Hell, most use a different "year", called a fiscal year. I guess none of us know what we are doing. Maybe you should hold a seminar and tell us what we are doing wrong.

As for the other video guys not charging late fees, get a clue. They all do. They just don't call them that. They call them restacking fees if you don't return the video within a certain amount of time.

12 noon means 12 noon. By you getting there at almost 1PM means your are late. They are losing revenue because they can't rent the movie while you have it. So pay your fee and stop crying.
