I was invited to Myrtle Beach for a free week end. The only catch was that I had to attend a sales pitch, or I would have to pay for my free week end.
I attended the sales office and I was lied to. I was told that I could get out of a commitment at any time. I could turn it back in or sale it on the spot. They said that I could sell it for a profit before the day was over. WHAT A FOOL I WAS!
They broke out a bottle of champaigne, got me drunk, and sold me a place in Miami that doesn't exist. I have paid the morgage, the maintenance fees, and all the other hidden charges that were in the sales contract, for three (3)years.
I have not set foot on, nor have I seen a Blue Green Property since I signed the contract.
I asked a lawyer and he said that I was S.O.L., that I had to pay Blue Green for the reast of my life.
I am a disabled Viet Nam veteran and I could not afford to pay them. The VA doesn't help me except for basic medicine, so BLUE GREEN ruined my credit, and they will get you too.
You will not get what you pay for.
Don't buy from Blue Green. They are HEARTLESS, and the law is on their side.

Yes, I agree it is a rip-off. However, you must share some of the blame. You said they got you drunk - you made the choice to drink. Offering alcohol should have been a tip off that something was not right. You signed on the dotted line.
You say the property does not exist. If this is true it is a clear case of fraud. Is it possible the property does exist but you just don't feel you are getting what you bargained for. An attorney should definitely be able to help you if there is no property. I find it hard to believe you were told you had no case. You can still file a suit in small claims court yourself. You will be limited in what you can recover but even a small amount is better than nothing.
Next time, think before you sign. It is what is in writing that counts, not what is said.
