Blue hippo is a scam. Never order from them. We have 448.00 credited to our account and decided to get a portable dvd for our kids so that they can be occupied during our 13 hour car drive. I sent a money order for the shipping and handling charge and sent it but was told that it could take 6 to 8 weeks before they can send it and i was told it would take 2 to 3 weeks before i got the money orders. They will not refund me the money i spent on the money orders nor do they have a supervisor you can speak to. Do not go through there company for anything

What does it take for people to wake up?

AUTHOR: Anonymous - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Thursday, June 18, 2009

Every time Blue Hippo pops up on the new complaints board, I am amazed all over again.
Why are people still diving into this scam?
Last year I needed a computer quick, and had the same as others. No credit or cash at hand. I saw the Blue Hippo ad, and my first thought was to good to be true. I googled blue hippo, and 5 seconds later, I learned everything I needed to know.

How are people, not getting the word, that this is a scam?

After reading all the complaints, just for giggles I called Blue Hippo, the first thing I asked them was, how much is the total cost for this package? I also asked what are the products brands, they could not give me that information unless I gave them all my info including my account number.

That alone would be a red flag. This company will not tell you what they are selling or how much it costs unless I give them my billing information? what a scam!

What is even more amazing, is how long this is going on for.

If you need a computer, just put your own money aside and save. If that is hard, go to somewhere like Walmart and put it on lay away. You are doing the same thing as Blue Hippo is claiming to do for you. But this way, you are guaranteed the product, and you are not paying inflated rip off prices and shipping. Thats even if they actually sent the product

I also e mailed my local network that runs Blue Hippo commercials, I told them my disappointment in them for running ads that they know are a complete scam.I stated that I feel it makes them just as guilty. Why would they allow their viewers to be ripped off?.
