Blue Hippo Our 19 year old daughter died during RIP-OFF bought computer never got it promise would come. i got her a laptop elsewhere no refund/credit She's never coming home. ROBBED of $1500 and life. UNFAIR Baltimore, Maryland

My daughter graduated high school, started college, needed a laptop computer.  She found Blue Hippo, wanted to start building credit and signed with them. (without talking to us-parents)  Activated her account with them on 8/13/08, with a down payment of $124.00 then payments of $69.98 biwkly.  The total due being $1943.00.  She was to receive computer at the end of Sept. 08. 

It did not come so she began contacting them. At this time she got very sick, had surgery and dropped out of college due to missing to much. But she never missed any payments, I know because she needed my help and had to tell me about this deal with them.

Months passed with numerous phone calls from us to them and each time it was another excuse; shipping backed up, Dell having problems, etc. January 09 she started college again, still no laptop.  Jan. 26, 09 she was back in hospital and out of college again. 

After weeks in the hospital she had surgery again on March 4th.  On March 10th They told us she had terminal Cancer, very rare type for her young age and no cure available.  I tell you this because I explained it all to Blue Hippo when I called again.  I told them again that I had already bought her a computer and she only had 6-9 months to live so could they please give back her money so that she might go somewhere fun and enjoy her remaining time.  They said no, we cancelled the order and were suppose to get store credit. I have contacted Dell who say they have nothing to do with it,  I can't get anywhere with Blue Hippo.

Our daughter died on 9/9/09 of stomach cancer at age 19.  We have never been so lost.  We miss her so much.  Now we are testing her sister.  Can you help us?
