Bluegreen Time Shares Horrible Customer Service ripoff Boca Raton Florida

I have never been more upset with a company than now. We have been Bluegreen owners for about 4 years now. We planned a special 10 year wedding anniversary trip to Aruba. We began the planning process back in January, 2007. Or trip was for June, 2007. We had booked our flights, our points, and began our passport process. However, due to circumstances out of our control, our passports did not make it to us. I tried to call and speak to a customer rep about our dilemma. She began to tell us that we could cancel our Aruba reservations, but we would still loose the points. That is a whole years worth of points. That would mean no vacation for my whole family for a full year.

I understand that there are people who would abuse this and RSVP and then cancel many times over. We, however, have never done that. I am at a loss for words when I hear that it is, to bad, so sad. If it were up to us, we would love to spend our anniversary in Aruba. Not getting our passports is something that is totally out of our hands. We had done everything we could. I dont understand this. Bluegreen is not loosing any money. We even prepaid all of our next years dues. And now because of this, we will not be able to vacation until next year when we get our yearly points.

To me, this tells me that Bluegreen is really not here to help their owners. I have had people at work and church talk to me about Bluegreen. I am probably going to go back to them and explain that Bluegreen is simply unwilling to help when an emergency comes up. It seems like now that Bluegreen has my money, they dont care. And that is unacceptable and a shame.
