BMF GLOBAL - MAXIS CONSULTING GROUP Desperate job seekers taken for a ride from a solicitation company! TIGARD Oregon

First go and read this article in the Portland Tribune from this May: http://www.portlandtribune.com/news/story.php?story_id=120960222985177900 than you can see what I'm trying to get at. I am one of the many unemployed people here in the Portland Area who replied to an ad in the Oregonian looking for a job that to pay the bills. Well it seems better to just go solicit application from places close by me than to trust a newspaper or online job posting for my time in my job search.

I interviewed with Maxis Consulting Group not knowing of the solicitation scam I was being wrapped into. I interviewed with a guy named Mike, for less than 5 minutes which was weird but I just thought it was part of the process. I felt confident when he would compliment me and offer me a chance at another 8 hour interview to go over the company on Monday from 930-530. What I found in some preliminary research was rip-off reports on this company going over exactly what I just went through. I than called today and scheduled an interview, gave my email address, and phone number, I asked if there was any times available other than tomorrow and they said they are only interview tomorrow, not even next week, RED FLAG!!! So I go through with the call and receive my email, it read:

Hi Jacob,

I enjoyed speaking with you today and I am looking forward to meeting you Thursday, July 24, 2008 3:30 PM. You will be meeting with a hiring manager. Here are the directions to our Tigard Location. Don't forget to bring in a copy of your resume and two references. If you have any problems getting here feel free to call me. If you have any issues come up that could prevent you from attending, please don't hesitate to call and we will do our best to reschedule. Thanks again and we look forward to meeting with you soon!

As you can plainly see this letter was put together by a template, and its no coincidence that MAXIS and BMF are in the same parking lot. I Googled BMF Global and gotten several hits for job postings from exactly what I read in the Oregonian, I also got 3 hits for rip-off reports, and found this link in one of them. I hope that Salem can put a stop to these scammers, GET A REAL JOB!! And close their business down for illegally marketing their company and misrepresentation for job postings. I wouldn't mind seeing an IRS Audit of this companies assets to see about how they keep track of their "employees" and the money they make.

Google them and read more on these scams, and help shut them down by compaining to the state about them.
