Beware of BMT Promotions and Talent! They are not BBB accreditted. I just filed a complaint with the BBB for non-payment of an event back on 09/10/12. There were complaints on the BBB site and Google links. Here's my complaint to review:

Hello my name is Thurmond Allen Jr. and I worked a Promo Event for BMT Promotions and Talent at the Philadelphia Convention Center on 09/10/12. As of 11/21/12 10 weeks later! I still have not been paid for the event and was independently contracted to be paid within 6 weeks of completion. I have called, emailed and did not get contacted back for a long time and when finally contacted they told me that they still haven't sent my payment and they're not sure when they'll be able to send it.. I worked 13.5 hours at the rate of $16.00 per hour for a total amount of $216.00. I have waited extremely patiently for my payment. Not to mention, it was my first event for this company and the managers/team leaders left me alone all day
literally with thousands of angry, frustrated travelers and I had no helpful information for the customers.

Please help me to get the payment I earned. I've been patient and professional the entire time.I can be reached at (((REDACTED))) This is info on the company below.

Desired Settlement: Other (requires explanation)

Desired Outcome Description: I would like a check for the full amount of $216.00 for work performed on 09/10/12. I worked 13.5 hours at a rate of $16.00 per hour. Also they have breached their end of the being paid within 6 weeks section of the agreement. I should get paid at a Team Leader rate of $18.00 per hour for a total of $243.00 for being left alone on my first day with no Team Leader or Manager in sight for most of the day while dealing with so many people being commuted in and out in so many buses and me having to direct everyone!
