I ordered a $600 power inverter, but before I received it, our engineeer suggested a design change. So when the inverter was delivered, we put the delivery on a pallet without otherwise touching the packaging and stored it in a heated garage. Many months later, it was resolved we needed the 240V version, not the 120V we had on the pallet. FYI, the 120V version is still a current product and is still sold today for the same price. We sent an email on 9/10 asking if we could upgrade. They never replied. It took four attempts at calling them during business hours before anyone ever answered the phone. We would ship back a 120V model at our expense and upgrade it to the 240V model, also stating the package has never been opened, and we understand they can not promise anyhting until they see it was never opened. We would obviouosly also pay the additional $400 for the 240V which sells for $1,000. They stated the refuse as they only accept returns for 30 days. I suggested this was not a return for a refund, but for an upsell for additional revenue. I asked to speak with the owner and the lady who then answered the phone stated she has no idea what I have been doing with the product and she can not accept the risk for that. Huh, I just stated it is still in the orginal shipping packaging, and you still sell the product. Only people who ship a product back after 30 days try to screw you over? I get that a lot of perople like to commit fraud these days, but this policy does almost nothing to resolve that problem. I highly suggest you do business with someone else, clearly they don't care about you as a customer.
