Boats Unlimited Ower Mike Clair/Crestliner Boats ripoff prepaid waited almost 1 year boat fell apart 1 week later never keep his word lied to much to list lost a lot of money. Utica New York

My wife and I bought a boat that was in stock, back in January 2001, we looked at the boat got inside of it and like it. We filled out all the paper work and credit forms and was approved and signed all the forms and paid for the boat that day. Total cost was $38,000 and was to be ready in 3 months for stripper fishing, called many times told me every thing was going well, I decided to pay Mike Clair a vist because I felt he was lying to me I was shocked the boat was no where to be found note two months have past and one month left before I would get the boat.

Utica NY is 3 hours away from my house, I shocked he when I walk in his office and said where is my boat he said I stored, I was upset show me he said I will get somebody to take you to see it. I could not beleive it stiil coverd behind many other boats, the person that took me said this boat no way will be ready next month he said it would take many months before I would see it. I got the boat the 2 week in August. The boat was junk fell apart broke down on the water had factory defects. He took the boat back we did all the paper work paid the other off bought the new one got ripof he used my money for a over year put this new boat on his crestliner floor plan crestliner knew about it becaus I contacted them I got the boat wrigged wrong no custom canvas this is not the boat I orded.

Crestliner knew that Mike Clair ripped us off and did nothing about it he is a fruad much more to list. Thank You!
