me and my wife recently leased 2004 jeep grand cherokee.we thought that the lease we were getting was 36 months what we got was a 66 month lease.

total price $ 30,088.10 plus $9,140.00 at the end if we want to buy it.the vehicle total list price is $30,705

i know you pay a little more for a lease but more than the vechicles worth.we got good credit.

we were rushed through signing. i know now that we should of stop signing.

we were so excited about getting a new vehicle. didnt think about getting rip-off.from a big car dealer.we were worried more about small dealers.

signing they sad the forms were new to them. now i think maybe they were new rip-off scam forms.

beware of santa bob and his rip-rohrrrrman deals

Casey Giles -- good experience

AUTHOR: Mary - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Wednesday, January 31, 2007

I recently purchased a vehicle from Bob Rohrman Toyota and Casey Giles. I have to say that it was the most pleasant car buying experience of my life.

Casey knew I was looking at other dealerships, specifically one my son works for where I could get a good discount. Bob Rohrman's, however, is closer to where I live so more convenient for service, etc. Casey (and his sales manager) agreed to meet the terms that I was offered at the other dealership, gave me an awesome amount for my trade-in, and let me take the car home before I actually even paid for it (I'm paying cash).

Casey went over all documents with me thoroughly, and answered all questions. He's gotten back to me quickly whenever I've called, and has been more than patient with me while we wait for the check to come in to pay for the vehicle.

I give him an A++ for service and would go to wherever he is selling cars for future purchases, whether he is still with Rohrman's or he moves on somewhere else.

To Mr. Rohrman -- do whatever it takes to keep this guy. He's one of the good ones!

Glad to help resolve the situation

AUTHOR: Casey - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Monday, October 09, 2006

I just learned about this web sight. I am very glad I was able to take care of Richard. I work very hard to bring credibility to an occupation that some look down on.

In the future I hope all customers look at this report and learn from it. This customer has learned a very important message.

When going in the finance office of a dealership it is very important to read every thing and ask your sales person any questions you don't understand. If you tell the finance manager you want a lower payment you need to understand that money has to come from some place. If your payment just dropped 50 to 100 dollars a month(where did that money come from.) Since it has to come from someplace:

Here are a couple of examples of places it will come from.
1. money down
2. profit from the sale of the car
3. extended warranty and other (back end profit items)
4. length of the lease
5. different lending source
6. persons credit score
7. persons debt to income

In conclusion, if you are a customer who wanders if you are getting a good deal.
You should always have you sales person explain in detail the terms of the lease. If you are not getting the answers that help you understand you wont be the first person that has signed up with a lease without fully understanding the paperwork.

You are more than welcome to email me if you have any questions, don't worry I sell just about every type of car and may be able to help you. I will do my best to clarify you situation for you.

I always try to make the process of buying a car as simple as possible, however sometimes circumstances dont allow it to be simple. If it is not cut and dry I will explain why. I learned some thing from this deal. Every since I sold this nice couple their Jeep I have been asking my customers after they get out of the finance office if they understood the paperwork. I have not run into this problem since.

Thank you for reading this report and have a great day!

BOB RORHRMAN GOOD NEWS

AUTHOR: Richard d. - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Wednesday, December 08, 2004

WE WOULD LIKE TO SAY THAT WE FREEKED OUT AND AFTER TALKING WITH CASEY AT BOB RORHMANS AUTO THEY WERE WILLING TO DO WHATEVER WE NEEDED TO MAKE US COMFORTABLE WITH A NEW PURCHASE.... THEY FOUND ANOTHER BANK TO DO OUR LEASE FOR ALOT LESS.... WE GOT A 4YR LEASE AND OUR PAYMENT DIDN'T GO UP, THIS MADE US FEEL SO MUCH BETTER... WE NOW HAVE OUR JEEP AND LOVE IT... WE LEARNED OUR LESSON AND THAT IS TAKE TIME TO REALLY PAY ATTENTION TO WHAT'S GOING ON AND NEVER SIGN UNTIL WE ARE 100% SATISFIED.... ONCE AGAIN CASEY WENT OUT OF HIS WAY TO MAKE US HAPPY....

Again the Car Guys are crooks?

AUTHOR: Keith - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Sunday, December 05, 2004

Once again another "educated" consumer taken advantage of by the "evil" car guys.
Have you ever considered reading a contract before signing? You "thought" it was a 36 month lease? The term is right on the contract...but you were ripped off? Give me a break...blaming the dealer for you inability to read a contract or ask what your signing is ridiculous and its people like you that give the car guys a bad reputation.

THIS WAS SUPPOSED TO BE A HAPPY DAY, BUT TURNED INTO A NIGHTMARE INSTANTLY

AUTHOR: Richard d. - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Sunday, December 05, 2004

THIS IS A LITTLE MORE INFO THAN EARLIER... THIS WAS SUPPOSED TO BE A HAPPY DAY, BUT TURNED INTO A NIGHTMARE INSTANTLY.... MY HUSBAND AND I WENT TO BOB RORHMANS TO LEASE A JEEP CHEROKEE LAREDO, WE FOUND A 2004 WHICH HAD ONLY 258 MILES ON IT.

IT WAS VERY SHARP LOOKING AND WE WERE VERY EXCITED. WE DEALT WITH CASEY GILES AND SEEMED TO HIT IT OFF GREAT, HE WAS VERY HELPFUL..

HE TOLD US THAT HE WANTED TO MAKE THIS A GREAT EXPERIENCE AND GET US WHAT WE WANTED.. THIS WAS A $30,000.00 STICKER PRICE VEHICLE AND WE WERE TRADING IN A 2000 S10 PICK-UP TRUCK.

WE WERE LEASING THIS AND WHEN WE GOT TO THE FINANCIAL DEPT. TO DO PAPER WORK WE WERE VERY EXCITED THIS IS WHAT MY HUSBAND WANTED. WE WENT THROUGH THE PAPER WORK PRETTY QUICK BECAUSE WE WANTED TO GO AND SHOW OFF THE NEW JEEP AND WE HAD THOUGHT WE HAD COVERED EVERYTHING WITH CASEY ALREADY, BUT WHEN WE GOT HOME AND LOOKED AT OUR PAPERS WE WERE MORTIFIED WHEN WE SEEN THAT OUR MONTHLY PAYMENTS WERE FOR 66 MONTHS AND AT THE END OF THE 66 MONTHS WE WOULD PAY $30,088.10 WHICH INCLUDED DOCUMENT FEES, THEN IT SAID WE COULD BUY IT AT THAT TIME FOR $9,140.00 MORE.

IT DOESN'T TAKE A BRAIN SURGEON TO FIGURE OUT THAT THIS IS $40,000.00 AND THIS IS $10,000.00 MORE THAN THE STICKER PRICE....

THE FINANCE GUY TOLD US THIS A NEW FORM TO HIM AND ONE CAN ONLY HOPE THAT HE MADE A MISTAKE... BUT UNFORTUNETLY WE SIGNED ON THE DOTTED LINE.

WE ARE NOT SURE THAT THIS IS ALL OF OUR SALESMANS (CASEY) FAULT, BUT WE DISCUSSED ALMOST EVERYTHING WITH HIM...JUST BEWARE WHEN DEALING WITH BOB RORHMAN AUTO OR YOU COULD END UP LIKE US.
