I started the program in December of last year. After reviewing my contract I am not sure of the date as the contract is not dated correctly. The contract date is 01/04/02. In my opinion this invalidates the entire contract.

My first trainer in December of 2002, missed 3 sessions. (No show-no cancellation given) After complaining they assigned another trainer and compensated me for the missed sessions.

1. The sessions with the new trainer started January 17th of this year. I was not re-evaluated at this time and when I inquired why I was told "Were starting all over." I asked when I would be re-evaluated/re-measured and he stated "That wont be for awhile." As of this date I still have not been re-evaluated nor has my program been adjusted to meet my needs.

2. In March I only received 1 session because the trainer went out of town for spring break and I was told he would call to schedule a session with me when he returned. I called the week after to schedule a session since I did not hear from him and was told he was still gone. I called and left messages again to schedule a session for the week of March 24th, he never returned my call.

April 4th he left a message with my answering machine; I had not had a session since March 7th. I returned his call; he suggested a session on April 17th however I was out of town that week. April 14th I called wanting to schedule my missed sessions I did not hear from him until Friday, April 18th. We scheduled 2 sessions, April 21st and April 25th.

He no showed for the appointment on April 21st. I asked to see the Manager that day, April 21st, he was standing at the counter when I asked where my trainer was. His only reply was that since Todd was not available, he would get me another trainer.

The total irresponsibility, disrespect and inconsistent service displayed by employees of Body of Change are unacceptable to me. The services they are to provide are inadequate and have been of no value to me. Apparently, Body of Change, since it obtains payment in advance, feels it has no obligation to provide quality to their customers once they have their money.

I am dissatisfied and I want this situation resolved without any more money out of my pocket. (The $250.00 cancellation fee was not explained to me at the time of sale!).

My husband and I have both been members of LA Fitness for several years. We have been pleased with their staff and their facilities, but this incident leaves me to question whether I might be better served at one of the newer facilities that are always enticing us to join them.
