This is clever. These guys pretend to be government agents, who can assist scam victims in recovering their money. I was searching for information on a fake stock broker, which had previously attempted to scam me, the company was called Price Webb, and in searching for that name, I found this - -

I was a little suspicious, given the poor, non-professional quality of the web site, its recent registration date in the Netherlands, no address, no phones, no FAX, and a come hither email address - -

I wrote to the recovery scammers at Global Investor Alerts, asking how I may file a claim against Price Webb? I was sent a form, and immediately discussions of payments, and recovery fees, and legal expenses tipped me off.

The modus operandi of Global Investor Alerts works like this - - They scour legitimate government web sites, ASIC in Australia, HK-Alerts in Hong Kong, etc., and then they copy and paste that information into their links at http://www.globalinvestoralerts.com . Then, if their con website is found via Google, the once-stung investor may become twice-stung in an advance fee fraud recovery scam.

I accepted one phone call from one of their agents, I couldnt clearly understand everything that he said, he had a heavy accent. The funny part was when he started raving on about the scummy guys who run these boiler rooms, and how fake brokers like Price Webb steal from a few clients, and they (according to this fellow) spend all of the stolen money on a wild life style, and when the money is gone, they start up another boiler room. So, I asked, ..well, if they have spent all of my money, from where do I recover my money? (..whoops..) Dead air.. Not a sound, then the fellow was stuttering and stammering and trying to recover his story line, and then he began to tell me how he and only he could access a special government fund, which compensated victims such as myself

Enough is enough, it became very clear to me that Global Investor Alerts is just another fake recovery scam, and I simply hung up the phone

WARNING:

INVESTOR-ALERTS.ORG AND BOILER-ROOMS.ORG are the same criminal group that use privacy protect to hide their Hosting and Registration details so they can't get taken down.

I have reported them to the FBI Internet Crime dept, I suggest you do the same so we can get this website removed. Pls do the same so that the FBI take action:
