I made an appointment with this company for my wife and I to have a massage on our anniversary. I called the day before to set the appointment (procrastination on my part). When I asked the guy if he needed my credit card he said not until after the massage. He took my name and time of the massage and that was it. I waited for him to give me some kind of policy or idea of what to do to cancel but after a tiny bit of awkward silence I said thank you and have a nice day. The next day I realized I was working later than expected and had my wife call. A different receptionist answered. She informed my wife that they have a 24 hour cancellation policy. They would charge the price of the massage or sell you a gift card instead. That sounds a little weird to me to begin with. She then told my wife that if we just cancelled the card would be billed. My wife was unaware that they did not have any of our information and this led her to believe that they did. My wife took the option for the gift certificates and gave her the card number. I found this out and called back only to be rejected by the girl (Bridgette) and told they would have the owner contact me the next day. This sounds like a great scam to me. She also informed me that the 24 hour fee information is posted in their office which is really convenient as I made the appointment over the phone after finding the number on Google. They scammed me out of money and they can do it to others too. I have dealt with other cancellation fees but have always been informed of them prior to scheduling. Please don't get screwed like me.
