I was truly excited once I stumbled onto your website to find such great values on some of the top resort accommodations. I attempted to book the property Paradise Resort in Myrtle Beach, SC. unfortunately it advised I needed to speak with a representative regarding this matter.

I waited for approximately 3-5 minutes and was excited when the representative answered. I advised Bennett (ext 928124) how elated I was to find the website and advise how long i had been looking on my own ( he really just blew me off). I advised I was interested in the Bay View he advised I think that is sold out then I asked about the Paradise Resort. He did the reservation and advised it was buy 2 get 1 free, he asked for my information and as I gave him mm email information he blew me off again (I knew he had it incorrectly because of the uniqueness. He never mentioned the name of the hotel so I assumed that it was Paradise and was excited because of the deal I was receiving. I felt rushed and was dealing with someone that was just making commission and the least bit concerned about the customers needs. As he was rushing me off the phone I asked how will I get my confirmation he said I am sending it right now I said fine and hung up.

After a few moments I went to see the reservation and was unable to find my information the message advised (email not found). I immediately called back waited another 3-5 minutes to get another representative that got me back in touch with Bennett. He said he had the wrong email address as I advised him I tried to give him the email address and I figured he had it wrong. I asked about the $25 gift card he advised at this time it did not give that discount because of the dates.

At this time I did not realize that the hotel that Bennett booked was a dump and my family does not stay in places like this ever. I am a former customer service manager and told my husband this was awful service. I was furious and was unable to get back to the booking department, so I looked online to see if I could cancel, once I got there I realized this would be a issue and a fee.

I was furious and attempted to call back but was unable to get to that department. I contacted customer service and got a really nice person that got the brunt of my anger in which I later apologized to her. She advised she would send me to another department and they could get the fees transferred to the resort I wanted apologized for my experience.

I reached Hazel she advised she would check the hotel to see if what I wanted was available. She came back and advised neither were available ( I figured that this is after all the 4th weekend) and told me she would see what she could do. She came back within a few minutes to advise you would waive the $19.99 fee and I would be charged a one night fee to cancel. She advised once I got to the resolution department to review this I may indeed may get a refund. I advised this was not sufficient because I have my funds tied up into something I did not want. She also advised it would take 7-10 days for a refund. I asked for a supervisor which I held another 7-10 minutes.

This has been the worst mistake to do this I will never use this site again or anything like it I normally book my own reservations and I find great deals. Yes it is time consuming but it is not ever this stressful.

I spoke with Jessie ext 2002 she advised she would try to release my funds tonight and attempt to this resolved and she understood my anguish I told her I would put this on every website I could find to advise of this horrible experience. She advised she would cancel the hotel and attempt to get the property to release the funds back to me. I asked did she really think this dump would give me my money back. She advised she would contact me within 24 hours. I advised I will make my own reservations and have more money tied up. I advised my funds will be on hold until someone makes a decision, this is ridiculous and I am not happy at all, she advised she understood. WHATEVER!!

I sent a email to the customer care department and got an automated email that someone would contact me in regards to this matter.

Guess what the next day still no return call or email from the supervisor that promised a call regardless of the status (go figure) as to the status of my refund. I am doing a dispute with my credit card company. HORRIBLE Customer service from all facets!!!
