I signed up for Boomj local adlink advertsing. I signed the $99 permonth ad. I calculated out my cost per click and it was $16.50 per click instead of googles $2.38 per click. I used Google analytics to monitor whats going on.
I get the same amount of clicks from organic sites. or even my free yellow pages.com ad.

Google said I has 10 clicks in 10 days and only 2 of the clicks were new visitors. So I paid $16.50 per click. Wow! what a deal. This is definently a scam. Go with google adwords. this works. I have over 80% new visitors compared to my local adlink ad at only 20% NEW VISITORS.

I GET ALL THESE EMAILS SAYING LAST CHANCE TO SIGNUP FOR THEIR NEW SPECIAL DEAL.

THIS IS NOTING BUT THE SAME OLD MLM MARKETING SCAM. THESE ALOT OF PEOPLE DEPERATE IN THESE TIMES. DO-NOT GO WITH THIS COMPANY. REMEMBER WHERE THE ARE LOCATED
" NEVADA"

I have not once seen my ad show up in my area. and there website is always down.

Why are you only mentioning Google?

Google is just one of many ways we promote over the internet. Check your facts before you try and explain how effective LocalAdLink is and give it more than a week next time. Almost sounds like you work for Google. nickford16@yahoo.com

LocalAdLink Problems

AUTHOR: Johnn - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Friday, February 27, 2009

Important Updates From Tech Department

TECHNOLOGY UPDATE: FRIDAY FEB 27, 2009

We are aware that some of you are experiencing problems with 1) ads showing in the directory and or the ad network and 2) getting a white screen when attempting to login. This is a temporary problem as we are currently in the process of migrating from Beta 1.0 to Beta 2.0. This is a migration of all our software (localadlink.com and the ad server) to a new set of servers. We are conducting this "live migration" to keep from taking the entire system offline during the overall migration process.

We expect this migration to be done by 1am on Monday night.

We expect to have some of the errors occur in different regions of the country while the live migration takes place. We apologize for this frustration and are striving to make our systems completely stable. These upgrades to our system will give us the ability to sustain the incredible growth that LocalAdLink is experiencing. The current system IS allowing ad sales and we will continue to accept orders normally. We are processing hundreds of new ad sales each day. We appreciate your patience in this matter.

More detailed updates on the progress of our migration will be released as they occur.

Thank you,

LocalAdLink Tech

Has anyone stated that this is product, which is currently in it's beta stage, is better than Google Adwords? What business owner makes or breaks an advertising campaign that lasts 30 days, let alone one that hasn't fully been realized yet? I invite you to watch this video.

http://www.vimeo.com/3261541

Upon viewing, you'll realize that the value of the product won't be fully realized until April, when they officially launch.

Why is google your only point of reference? They push your ads to hundreds of social media, news, search engine sites. What keywords did you use? Did you check their click potential? Did you choose zip codes that have a large number of people? You do know that 10 percent of your google clicks are from google themselves yes? You also do know that you're not guaranteed to receive local clicks from google, and I'd be willing to bet a good number of those were garbage clicks. LocalAdLink is a long term branding service with a low price point and a number of features that won't be available until this April.

New special deal? What e-mail are you referring to? They're changing the price point at the end of this month, all they've said is that you can lock in lower pricing by getting on board before then. Their location is in Nevada and California. They are publicly traded and pci compliant. Just look here:

http://finance.yahoo.com/q?s=BOMJ.OB

Their website is not always down, and even if it was, the first thing you see on the front is "beta". Here's a link to the definition of that in computer terms:

Don't blame the company because a rep gave you bad information. They have sent many letters to us but making sure we stay complaint with their product. If your complaints are true in 6 months, then I'll come back here and rescind my statements. But you can't judge anything before it's complete.

Wide Spread Scam Artists!

AUTHOR: Trigger - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Sunday, February 15, 2009

These are the same folks who have perpetrated such scams as ONE-VISION, the barely legal pyramid "benefits" plans. They have others of the type across the internet. Beware!

Thanks for the facts in this matter. I suspected this was a rip-off, because the same guy who tried to rope me into ONE-VISION, just sent me a long email about how terrific this [localadlink.com] was for my struggling business! Localadlink is the other name for BoomJ.

Watch Out and Pass the WORD!!!
