I'm sorry to see someone else got taken by this company. I too had a similar situation with O Premium Water. My salesperson Steve, showed up at my door around 8:30 PM, I immediately told him we were NOT interested. He refused to take "NO" for an answer.

He offered the same type of deal that Eric had offered Tammy, however, my salesman didn't see that I already OWNED my own cooler. Even though I told him several times. He told me to try the service for one month, it was a good deal all the water our family could drink for only $29.99, delivered to your door & if I was not interested after that, I could CANCEL at ANY time.

While signing the contract I asked him specifically about the part where this was a 3 year contract & he stated "Oh, that is for people who need a cooler, you can disregard that, since you have your own cooler." I said OK, than you don't need me to initial that spot. He became very frustrated & upset at this time & said "Just initial everything & sign here, YOU need to INITIAL everything." I stated again, you just told me that the part where it was a 3 year contract didn't apply to me, so, why do I need to initial it! He again, was getting extremely agitated, I suppose because now it was going on 9:00 PM & he just wanted to get out of there, so, he just insisted I initial & get over it. Assuring me I would NOT BE locked into a 3 year contract. My husband & mother were both available & heard this entire conversation. So, unlike Tammy I was not alone.

Again, this was false, I contacted the company a month after signing up to cancel the service. Customer Service (I use that term very loosely) stated I had signed the contract & any verbal promises made by their salesman were not valid! I spoke with the Customer Service Supervisor, Melissa, (Again, a term used very loosely) & she just kept reiterating what her staff had stated, NO room for negotiation. She was extremely rude & was yelling & talking over me. She also advised me NOT to call again & harass her agents! ME HARASSING HER AGENTS! What a joke!! Before speaking with Melissa I too, like Tammy, was hung up on by O's Customer Service people. (They don't like customers who confront them.)

I did contact their President, Frank Leonesio, to no avail. It seems he is SOOOOOOO desperate for business he is willing to keep people locked into a phony, misleading, deceptive contract, at whatever cost it might be. He did state I could cancel after my 3 years were up, however, but certainly not before! He also stated he would stop my water delivery, but not stop taking the money out of my checking account! Isn't that special?? I could pay for something, I didn't want anymore & NOT receive it! How can that be legal????

As a side note, when I originally signed up, I was living in an apartment complex at the time & upon my first delivery, the O driver smashed into the metal covered parking overhang & just left without reporting it to anyone at the apartment manager's office. The driver left with a strip just hanging off the overhang. It really was very dangerous! I guess I should have known at that point, the type of company I was dealing with was not forthright.

So, fine! I could see I was fighting a losing battle, so, I just accepted it. A few months later, as it was starting to get HOT in AZ, I wanted extra water & I found out from my driver, (again, someone NOT customer service oriented) that there is a 10 bottle limit on my "All you can drink plan for $29.99!" Again, I contacted customer service (loosely used term) & was told the nationwide average is 5 bottles, but because I'm in AZ they double it. So, another piece of false advertising. It's NOT like their slogan states - it's only up to 10 bottles. Hmmm, I suppose that's difficult to put into their slogan. I wonder if their movie star spokesperson Crystal Bernard is aware of their deceptive sales techniques & false advertising!

Bottom line DO NOT SIGN ANYTHING if you DON'T AGREE TO IT! Don't be pressured for ANY REASON! and IF IT'S NOT IN WRITING, DON'T BELIEVE IT!!!
