My wife and I took our car to Boyd Autobody on King Edward Street, located in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. After Boyd repaired the steering column on our car, the headlight high beams could not be turned off. Boyd Apologized. They were very sorry.

During our first visit to verify the estimate, Boyd employees soiled the front seats and didn't replace the plastic they took off of the broken window. I had to return the next day for them to clean the car.

We went to pickup the car after the repairs were completed but couldn't open any of the doors because they were frozen shut. One would think Boyd would dry the door's weatherstripping after washing the car, especially during the winter months. We were forced to leave the vehicle overnight (or tow it home).

Boyd Apologized. They were very sorry.

I picked up the car for a second time only to discover during my drive home that the headlight high beams could not be turned off. They worked fine before Boyd repaired the steering column so I returned to their shop immediately. I had to leave the car with them over the weekend so they could fix it the next week.

The third time I went to pickup the car, I found the high beam switch was still binding on the steering column cover Boyd installed. Boyd's head office has since completed a full investigation and claims there is nothing wrong with the steering column, and blames the weather for the frozen doors.

Now we are very sorry . . . for taking our car to Boyd Autobody.
