Mr. Latta showed up in court in a wrinkle shirt and pants, the pants were frayed at the bottom from him walking on them. I was embarrassed that my lawyer had not taken the time to prepare himself.
We were unable to see the judge due to a jury trail that was held over, the defendant and myself agreed on visitation just for that weekend. After court I complained to Mr. Latta about is disheveld apperance and he suggested he withdraw and I agreed.
After giving him a negative rating on Facebook he submitted a rebuttal with details of my case which I think is a violation of the attorney client privileged information.
I requested a copy of my file on Nov 7 and as of today Nov 29, Mr. Latta has refused to provide a copy. I called his office to make arrangements to pick up my file and was told by Allie Thornburg that they would be in court all week all day and that I could come by but they would not be there.
Mr. Latta sent me an invoice on Nov 17 billing me for things that are questionable at best for instance $250.00 for filing the withdrawl, $250 for phone conversation that I did not have with him and severl other things.
He billed me for the entire retainer of 2,650.00 even though he did not do the actual work. My court date is Dec 11 just two weeks away and Mr. Latta is holding my file hostage for payback of my bad reviews. He is very unprofessional and maliciaous.

Mrs. Pickens has left this same report on various websites, all of which have been rebutted.
I did not come to court in "wrinkle pants"; I was wearing a suit as I do every day for the past nine years. We secured visitation for Mrs. Pickens that date and she was appreciative and grateful. Upon withdrawing as her attorney, we made a copy of her file and left it for her to pick up, and it was available within a week of closing her file. There was nothing "unprofessional" about my conduct or demeanor, and Mrs. Pickens repeated insistence that her case was somehow prejudiced by my attire, when she left court with her grandchildren due to our work, should allow her complaints to speak for themselves.
