My elderly mother called Brain Research Labs after seeing an ad for "free" brain detox supplements that would cure her memory loss and Alzheimer's symptoms!  She told me about it after falling for their pressure sales tactics.  Apparently she was convinced by Michael that she should buy over $400 in products for her brain health.  When my mother told him she doesn't use credit cards, he talked her into giving him her checking account number!  they would be happy to set up a recurring debit from her account! 

I called them myself, pretending to have "memory loss" issues and wanting to know about their product.  I got a hard-ball, pressurized sales pitch myself...he hardly took a breath in describing this wonderful, approved supplemental program that is all natural and had a money back guarantee!  When I could interrupt him, I asked about what was in their product and if it was all FDA approved.  He was shocked I was asking about the ingredients in Procera....even more shocked when I asked how to spell them.  He mis-spelled Vinpocetine, spelling it "vinpozitine".   He went on to say the FDA doesn't need to approve "natural supplements" and that their company has done all the research.   He also balked when I told him I needed to consult with my doctor.  told me the doctors are only prescribing  medication that makes them and the drug companies rich and that there are no side effects from natural supplements.  This guy was a joke.  i finally just hung up ..he was probably still talking for 10 minutes before he realized I hung up.  

I called "customer service" ,very loose term...there is none! I asked for the salesman Michael, that sold my mom the snake oil, ...of cours he wasn't in yet.  I talked with Kevin, and told him to cancel my mother's order. I proceeded to tell him I thought their sales tactics were taking advantage of the elderly,  and it wasn't acceptable.  He got defensive, rude, telling me my Mom is the one who called them!  Yes, but not to be made to feel like this is a wonder drug that is going to cure her Alzheimer's and convince her to buy six months of the crap and give up her checking account number!  He told me I should live closer to my Mom if I didn't want things like this to happen!  

these people are snake oil salesmen...and will rip the elderly off in a heartbeat.
