Show customers why they should trust your business over your competitors...

After having warping problems with the rotors, I was told by them that they'd replace them under warranty because the mfr doesn't recommend resurfacing. I found out later (at the BMW dealership) that Brake Masters actually just resurfaced the rotors and not only that, but they went well below the rotor thickness needed for safe operation. It was like I was driving
on well worn-out brake rotors. Very unsafe.

That's dishonest and put me at risk of injuring (or worse) myself and others on the roadway.

I expected more from a place that specializes in brakes. I expect more for an $800 brake job.

This is written in response to Rey from Scottsdale complaint.
We at Brake Masters understand that sometimes customer find it hard to go to the source when a complaint or issue has happened. That is why we at Brake Masters attempt to keep a watchful eye on all of the reporting agencies possible. We take great pride in our work and reputation.
Brake repairs were performed on Rey's' BMW at Scottsdale and Shea on 06-01-2006 Inv. # 4203 Mileage on odometer at service 53403. Front and rear brakes service was performed with brake pad and rotor replacement. Total Cost to customer $831.44
Rey from Scottsdale returned to Brake Masters on 02-19-2007 Mileage 62216 with a complaint about bad pulsation in front of vehicle when stopping. After inspection of vehicle it was determined that the front brake rotors were warped and needed to be replaced. As a good will repair due to time and mileage, with no charge to the customer the front brakes were replaced with brake rotors, and brake pad sensor. Goodwill repair worth $482.30.
This complaint was posted on 10-10-2008 and was not found by Brake Masters until 12-09-2007. When this complaint was found prior to contacting Rey from Scottsdale a brief investigation was performed by Brake Masters to gather as much information as possible about this vehicle and repair history. The customer has not been into the Scottsdale Brake Masters since the last repair on 02-19-2007. It was discovered that the vehicle had been into BMW for brake replacement on March 2008, odometer 75636. Front and rear brakes had been replaced, with brake rotors and sensors.
We have since been in contact with Rey from Scottsdale about this issue. This repair was performed prior to the current management team now in the store. What we at Brake Master are a little confused about is the time line on this issue and the delay on reporting this to any agencies or Brake Masters corporate office. After speaking with Rey to try and understand why such a long delay from repair to report date, we believe we need more input on this issue.
