Brake Team Fraudulantly Overcharged MY Credit Card, AND Only Did Half the Job! ripoff Tigard Oregon

I came in to get the special 4 wheel brake job for $99. I drop off my truck and that evening Chuck- called and said he wants to charge me $1,300. I understand you use the $99 promotion to bring people in and then cross sell them with other services- but I didn't have $1,300 to drop on the repairs. He told me ALL of my tolerances of the drums and rotors were UNDER specs and he needs to change all of the rotors and drums.

I went in the next morning, and found a different story. There was only ONE rotor that was under tolerance. The rest were way over. He said he must of looked at the wrong page??? He would replace both front rotors and all four brakes for just over $200. I agreed to that. That night Chuck calls and stumbles through his conversation with me (acting nervous) and said something about how he had to put out some money for my rotors, and he no longer has much money left so I need to pay by phone with credit card. I agreed to that. But was very reluctant afterwards.

That night I picked up my truck after hours, the key and receipt were under my floor mat, I suspected something (because credit cards don't go through instantly either-he would have funds instantly)I looked at my receipt and saw that they did replace the rotors, but he only replaced my front brakes and not the rear breaks. THEY LIED TO ME!

The next morning I call a number to Kurt the regional Manager(503) 222-6999. I called that on the 3rd, 4th, 5th, and 6th. He calls me back at 5:15 on the 6th! That is also very Sketchy. He obviously takes this whole time to make up a story. He said that they didn't replace the back breaks because the axle seal is broken. They don't replace brakes with a broken axel seal.

I said "then why didn't Chuck tell me that, and adjust the price accordingly?" Kurt has no answer. I explain I did not sign this work order or invoice, and the payment I made over the phone was under fraudulent pretences. I asked him how is he going to rectify the situation, He then tells me for another $40 he will replace the rear brakes- WHAT!!!! HE JUST GOT DONE TELLING ME HE WILL NOT REPLACE THE REAR PADS WITHOUT A NEW AXIL SEAL- NOW FOR $40 DOLLARS HE WILL overlook THAT?

Everything I have stated is 100% true. The truth cannot be bent or manipulated- My receipt showing only 2 brakes replaced while the $99 brake promotion is advertised everywhere (flyers, buses, ads) brought me in.
