Attention anyone who comes in contact with Brenda D. Torrey of Las Vegas, NV. This woman is a FREAK! She truly is a psycho with only one thing in mind... MONEY!

My husband and I took custody of one of his boys when she "didn't want him anymore because he was too hard to raise." She delivered him to us 1 month before our wedding in 2000. We agreed to continue to pay her child support (she has the other son) to put her through a 2-year college program. We offered this to her as long as she agreed she would never come back and sue us for child support again. She agreed - until this past year. As soon as the son we were raising graduated in June 2006 and left for the army, we were served with Child Support papers. My husband had lost his job and had taken another job at a significant pay cut. On the other hand she made 3 times more than my husband. Regardless of that, she took him to court, commited liable by swearing to expenses she claims to have incurred as a result of raising my husbands son, and still was able to snag $400/month from us. It took 6 months for the case to be heard and they awarded her back child support for those 6 months. But here is where it gets interesting.

The governing parenting plan stated that she would have to reimburse us a portion for any travel expenses we incurred to fly my husbands son to see him and we would have to pay a portion to have the oldest son fly down to see her. Whenever it came time for us to collect the money - she had her stock answer of "Sue me". We wouldn't do it because we didn't want the children to feel torn over it. When she took us back to court to collect child support again, we presented this evidence to the court. WE WON! She owes us the money. Or so we thought. She blew off the demand for payment and flat out wouldn't pay us the $3,000+ she owed us. There seemed to be no recourse for her actions.

Now we have come to find out that the son we are paying child support for has not had one dime of it applied towards anything he needs. This child holds a 4.375 GPA and two part-time jobs that total well-over 40 hours per week which is against the law for a minor to work. Brenda told her son that she is saving the money to move out of state once he graduates high school and that she needs the money for a down payment on a house. What kind of a monster does this and still expects to be called Mom?

We recently paid for a plane ticket for my husbands son to come see us. She refused to pay us in the court-ordered time frame stating that "she would pay us as she sees fit." Well, trust me - she is on borrowed time with this issue.

My payback came when the older son that my husband and I had raised said he was ashamed of his mothers actions and no longer wanted any contact with her. He has cut her completely out of his life and considers me to be his mother. She text messages him and begs him to call but he has a handle on what she really is - A Sick Psycho without a conscious. then she even contacted the Red Cross and lied there was a family emergency to try and get in contact with our son. She humiliated him for her own gain.

There is so much more to write about her but it would make our head spin. If you are a man - RUN! Do not have any contact with her. Not only is she totally ugly on the outside - but the inside as well. Don't let her near your family or friends or CHILDREN! She will poison everyone she comes in contact with. She is an admitted liar, commits pergery(which can be verified), and cannot be trusted. Allowing a child to work two jobs while she hoards child support for her own financial gain is reprehensible. Please - let there be carma!
