Brent Runyan  , " Fabulous & Affordable Sales, Marketing & Consulting "(((REDACTED)))

I am writing this ripoff report to warn people and future business not to do business with Brent Runyan , " Fabulous & Affordable Sales, Marketing & Consulting " . I tried to do business with him and it was the biggest mistake of my career . I am a small business and I was looking for a telemarketer to set B2B appointments  to increase sales for my business .  I found  Brent Runyan  , " Fabulous & Affordable Sales, Marketing & Consulting " on Craigslist and he seemed to very knowledgeable and had the experience that I was looking for in a telemarketer .  We talked on the phone several times and I explained to him what my needs were and to try to Negotiate a fair and reasonable agreement with him for his services . In our negotiations he wanted all the money upfront for his services and I didn’t want to do that . This is where things went crazy . Here is all the E-mails that we exchanged  and I will let the E-mails speak to what type of person  Brent Runyan  ,  "Fabulous & Affordable Sales, Marketing & Consulting"   is .

Feb 18 at 6:27 PM  From Brent Runyan

I will not be manipulated and I know that people who are connected who have been contacting me. I don’t know what kind of an idiot you people think you are dealing with, but I am tired of playing idiotic games.

Hi Brent ! Did you send this E-mail to me by mistake ?? If you didn't , What are you talking about ?? You are not making any sense. Are you Ok??  I have never tried to manipulate you . The only thing I have done was to explain my Telemarketing needs and to negotiate a agreement that will work for both of us . I have to be honest with you about my last conversation I had with you tonight . A huge red flag came up for me about you and your business . I have offered $375 a week base rate plus $10 per set appointment plus 5% of commissions on any closed business that I do if you meet the quota of 10 appointments per week . If you don't hit that then I would pay a 37.50 per  Appointment . I would also pay the set up fee and the list costs . Where the red flag came up is when you said you wouldn't accept anything less than me paying all the money upfront for the upcoming week .and than hung up on me real fast . I will not do that . I think its fair to both parties if I pay half the money upfront for the upcoming week and then the rest when you complete the week . I need to be protected if you do not follow through on what you have promised . I think what I have offered is a fair and reasonable compromise. Please let me know your thoughts . Thanks !!

It’s very simple. I made it very clear, its f******* stupid (no offense intended) but I know more about telemarketing  than you ever thought about knowing or any of your neardowell college grads, but if you want to figure that out one day at a time – I will be happy to show you

Feb 18 at 8:41 PM from David Hjorth

This is a very weird e-mail . I never claimed or even implied you didn't know anything about telemarketing . Where is this coming from ?? Are you ok ?? Are you having a bad day ??  You never told me your thoughts about my fair and reasonable offer . What are your thoughts ? Do you want the project or not ?

Another Opinion about Brent

AUTHOR: Total Maintenance Services - (USA)

POSTED: Sunday, October 29, 2017

I found this report today and was very surprised to hear about these complaints regarding Brent Runyan and his telemarketing company.  My company has been using Brent's services for many years.  He is professional and has set appointments which have led to some of the best accounts that we have closed.  He consistently has delivered quality appointments week after week, year after year.  I too have been paying Brent in advance but it was completely agreed to by Brent and myself.  Appointment fees and commissions were paid a week later but his base pay was paid in advance.  I think that it is fair to do so and do the same with my other telemarketers.  I understand that some people don't see eye to eye and some work better with others so these incidents can happen from time to time.  Brent will give you your money's worth so give him the opportunity when the need arises.

One more thing

AUTHOR: Brent Runyan - (USA)

POSTED: Friday, January 01, 2016

It pretty much goes without saying but I have never gotten payment on "everything" from a client in advance nor was I proposing to do so in the case of David. Of course any appointment fees or commissions involved were always paid afterwards. And again all of my clients have paid my flat fee for my time in advance.

Also, again my problem with David was he didn't listen. When I say something I mean it and I made things clear from the beginning. Whether or not he was connected with any of the other business men who were calling me at the time I can't be certain, but I think it is likely. They were also trying to manipulate me in ways beyond just trying to negotiate a lower price

The Proof is in the Pudding

AUTHOR: Brent Runyan - (USA)

POSTED: Thursday, December 31, 2015

Incidentally, last month (December 2015) I set 7 appointments for my client (3rd time using my services) and he closed 4 of them with business decision makers. He is getting ready to close another one which will bring in 10K per month.

Almost every client that used my services has used my services more than once and paid my flat fee in advance and without any complaint.

Sorry for the typos in my previous post.

If it Qwacks Like a Duck - Its Probably a Duck

What kind of a person goes out of his way to try to ruin someone over an arguement - and makes slanderou statements because his ego was offended? What kind of a person would do that for any reason? That's why among other reasons this doesn't deserve a response

David stalked me on Facebook and elsewhere on the Internet posting a slanderous and untrue statements calling me a homophobe and a religous biggot nether thing of which I am in the least and anyone who knows me would tell you so. There is also a tremendous amount of information out there that proves otherwise.

I don't have that business anymore but I have one like it and my client is very happy with my work. I also let David know from the beginning that me fees, the way that I performed my work and that payment was required in advance - from the beginning of our conversation but he persisted in trying to manipulate me into doing things his way and COINCIDENTALLY (PROBABLY NOT) I was getting call from people like him (which is rare, thankfully) at that exact same time.

I let the reader fill in the lines, but David is an Energy Broker. Against my better judgment I took an energy broker for a client before. I produced business for that company, but in addition to being very dishonest with me - and in spite of the fact that I did demand payment in advance that broker cheated me.

But again -  What kind of a person tries to cause another one financial ruin because they are offended or their feelings are hurt? I feel sorry for the man.

THANK YOU FOR READING THIS - IF THERE WAS REALLY ANY NEED ANY WAY
