Brett's Roofing and Siding Roofer Fraud Beware! Shotty Job-No Felt used in roofing job. Multiple roofing issues!!! Marynardville, Tennessee

In the end of the year 2008, I hired Brett Switzer to replace my roof after shingles from a storm came off. I hired  him based on some work he did for my boss and he did a good job for her. After I hired him, he let someone do the work on my roof and this person was caught by my father not doing the job he was hired to do including not using felt under the shingles. My father called Brett and complaint and Brett did come to the site and finished the job which was taking his guy too long to do in the first place. After the job was done I have had nothing but issues out of the roof job and Brett.

First he threatened bodily harm to my father over a 20 dollar misunderstanding, and then refused to look at and fix a major rook leak coming in my bathroom. After an intervention with my insurance adjuster, Brett agreed to come out to fix the issue. Brett never wants to take responsibility for the leaks and blames them on other "issues" to get me to pay him for something else wrong.

Now since then every time (which is usually once a year) when a heavy 3-4 day rain comes I experience a new roof leak. I have tried to get Brett out and he won't answer my calls anymore and his business phone is disconnected. I hired another company to look at the cause of the leak and the transition work from the old house to the addition had failed and upon further investigation it was discovered that no water proofing felt was used on the addition either!

This area was the first to be done and the blatant disregard of not doing this job correctly was not caught till now. I can't afford to have this done again! I have to wait till the whole roof collapses from water damage to have insurance cover it again! I have since learned that Brett's Roofing has been on the "Rip Off Report" before, and now the BBB has 6 complaints on him including mine! UGH!!! I am a good person and I didn't deserve this! No one deserves to be ripped off by these clown so called contractors!
