Brian Dale from RunRunRun has not paid us for services rendered in January of 2017. We did Brian a favor based on his promise to pay for his goods after receipt. It is now the middle of August 2017, and Brian has not paid the bill nor made any attempt to setup a payment schedule. He no longer replies to emails, and I have to personally reimburse my company out of my meager Chinese salary.

We are a shipping company, and we have done business with Brian Dale from RunRunRun in the past. Brian contacted us in January to help him ship several boxes of goods from China to his offices in the USA. The goods were ready right before Chinese New Year, which is a long holiday here in China. During this time, many factories and shipping companies are on vacation.

Brian needed the goods to ship before Chinese New Year, or he would not receive the goods until the end of February. We only had a few days to make the arrangments before the shipping cut-off date, so there wasn't time to wait for him to send the funds. He was very distressed and explained how important it was that the goods ship before the holiday.

We offered to help him ship the goods on our account if he agreed to pay the balance. He would be able to use our discount to save money on the shipment. The warehouses and trucks are very busy at this time of year, and I spent a lot of time pulling strings to make sure his goods would get out on time.

Brian received the goods, but then he started making excuses about payment. The responses to emails slowly slowed to the point where we have not heard back from Brian in months.

I asked my boss to do the favor for Brian, and I am now responsible for covering the company loss. This situation got me in a lot of trouble with my boss and almost cost me my job. I have a family with children, and I don't make a lot of money here in China. I have been forced to pay Brian's bill out of my salary.

I am very disappointed in how Brian treated us after years of working with him and doing him favors. Brian received his goods like we promised, but never upheld his part of the deal. I really can't believe that we did him a favor, and after receiving his goods, he stuck me personally with a bill for around $3000 USD. We would have accepted some type of payment plan, but Brian has not taken any steps to rectify this situation.

Brian Dale of Runrunrun gave us HIS WORD that he would reimburse us for the cost of shipping HIS GOODS from China to the USA. We agreed to help AS A FAVOR to Brian to expedite delivery before Chinese New Year for the benefit to him and his business. We went above and beyond to not only allow him to use our shipping discount, but also by working overtime to prepare all the documents and make sure there were no problems getting his goods out of China.

We feel that Brian took advantage of our trust, and after doing him a favor, he stuck me personally with a bill of almost $3000. I don't think this is how you should treat people, especially people who go out of their way to help your business be successful.

Resolution

AUTHOR: - ()

POSTED: Tuesday, August 15, 2017

Runrunrun has offered quality products for many years, and Brian Dale is a successful entrepreneur with a talent for design. For the many years we worked with Brian,  we were always paid promptly for services rendered. Our company made a mistake when negotiating the payment terms, but we have come to an agreement with Brian to resolve this issue privately. We hope Brian and his partners are able to be successful with any future endeavors. We apologize for any confusion and are looking to have this review removed in its entirety.

We resolved this issue internally and decided not to pursue legal action because it was not worth the effort. Runrunrun has offered quality products for many years, and we hope Brian is able to be successful with his future endeavors.
