Please be advised that I represent Lani Starr.  All further communications concerning the facts and issues set forth herein shall be directed to me, not to my client, Lani Starr.

Lani Starr, is being falsely accused, on-line, of being a "cyber-bully."  

Just last week, she found out that anyone who was in her home (or even on any of the near by streets using a laptop) would be able to access her computer -.- as well as retrieve information and then send out emails, postings and other on-line notifications using her IP address, making it look as if it had come from Ms. Starr.  That is, to the rest of the world, it would appear that certain on-line posting had originated with Ms. Starr; whereas, in truth, any improper "cyber bullying" and other potentially illegal postings had originated with others.
 
The people about whom false and misleading on-line statements were made are certainly victims of such "cyber-bullying."  It so happens that Ms. Starr was also one of those victims.  
 
In fact, none of the offending on-line postings (that APPEARED to originate from Ms. Starr) actually originated from her or were sent by her.
 
She takes responsibility for naively allowing a situation through which other people could (and obviously did) knowingly, intentionally, maliciously, and improperly "hack into" her computer system and spread venom about these victims as well as Ms. Starr.
 
Ms. Starr is very concerned and deeply sorry for all such victims (including herself).  She intends to do whatever she can to correct the record.  This letter is a continuation of her attempt to correct the record; an attempt that began on August 3, 2012.
 
Which gets back to the person that all indicators point to:

Sometime in 2011, Ms. Starr became aware that this man had posted something negative about her on-line.  Once she ultimately obtained the July 2012 Judgment against this person, she contacted the sites that he had posted grossly negative (as well as other false information) about her.   
 
From August 3, 2012 to date, in order to rectify and clarify the situation, Ms. Starr has emailed and/or spoken with ripoffreport.com (2X) - - repeatedly asking them to take down the postings that she did not in fact post.  She also contacted The Alliance for Truth and Justice (2X) explaining to them that she was innocent and that her computer had been hacked.  Just yesterday she also contacted reviewstalk.com, to let them know that she in fact did not post any of the reports on Barry Cutler or others. 
 
Immediately thereafter, a large number of these false and defamatory postings began to surface- - all "attributed" to Ms. Starr.
 
Finally, Ms. Starr has been able to "connect the dots." 
 
It is highly likely that the person whom she has recently obtained a money judgment against, had cleverly "set a back-fire" starting in 2010.  That is, he knew that he had cheated Ms. Starr out of $15,000 (as well as had greatly injured her reputation in the industry); NOW he intended to "finish the job" - - by "cyber-bullying" her.
 
He knew that Ms. Starr had legitimately obtained a court judgment against him - - in fact, he had not even bothered to show up in court; nor had he bothered to continue having a lawyer represent him in that matter.  He undoubtedly knew that she would be able to get a money judgment against him. 
 
It appears to Ms. Starr that this man and his "friends" likely had another plan - - to ruin Ms. Starr's reputation, her business AND to have several other people fighting-mad at her - - because of postings about them that appeared to originate with Ms. Starr.
 
What a clever and insidious plan this person had - - undoubtedly to further punish Ms. Starr for asserting her legitimate legal rights to recover monies owed to her.
 
Ms. Starr understands and has compassion for all those who have been subject to this "cyber-bullying."  It is truly unfortunate that people with less than honest and truthful intentions now have relatively new tools to carry out in their attempt to ruin the lives and reputations of others.
 
 To summarize the situation - - Ms. Starr did NOT draft, post, email nor "cyber-bully" anyone; nor did she intend to do so.  Rather, she was "set up" to make her "appear" to be such a "cyber-bully."  Someone else's "fingerprints" are on the offending messages; not Ms. Starr's.
 
On the surface, it "seems like" Ms. Starr had posted those offensive messages.  However, someone(s) else perpetrated those heinous acts.  She played no part whatsoever in creating the content nor performing the acts that are being complained of. 
 
Ms. Starr intends to "get to the bottom" of who is/are behind these acts.  She intends to fully cooperate with any and all entities who are objectively searching for "who" and "how" these many offensive posts were put into the cyber-world.
 
In the meantime, on Ms. Starr's behalf, I expect and demand that you immediately cease and desist from any further false statements, negative postings and actions that are based on the assumption or belief that Ms. Starr has caused the "cyber-bullying" being complained of.  On Ms. Starr's behalf, a demand is made to immediately "take down" any and all web content that continues to accuse Ms. Starr of such wrongdoing.  Any and all emails that you have sent out which accuse Ms. Starr of such wrongdoing need to be immediately rectified by you.  Furthermore, this letter needs to be posted as part of any of your remaining content concerning Ms. Starr.
 
One final note.  This letter has been hastily drafted and sent to all those individuals and organizations who have apparently been targeted; and/or are now targeting Ms. Starr.  It is being sent in good faith to you with the expectation that all those recipients of this letter will be able to take at least a "neutral" position concerning whether or not Ms. Starr had any intention to harm the recipients and/or she took any actions to harm those affected. 
 
To those of you who have the moral and intellectual independence/neutrality to be willing to objectively determine what has truly been going on here, let me say the following to you - - Please communicate with me as soon as possible; especially, let me know what further information you may need to receive before forming any conclusions.  Further, if you have information that will help "get to the bottom" of this matter, please feel free to share such information with me. MAUI CYBER BULLY LANI STARK EXPOSED

As the result of a comprehensive investigation, it is alleged that Lani Stark (who uses aliases, Lani Star, Lani Starr and Lolita Star) regularly posts defamatory, slanderous remarks to various "revenge" sites to seek vengeance via "cyber-bullying" people she feels have wronged her.  After years of alleged criminal behavior and malicious intent, Lani Stark thinks nothing of the damage she is doing to good citizens, while cowardly hiding behind anonymous posts.

Investigators have counted at least 16 victims of Lani Starks cyber-bullying efforts and the list continues to grow daily. An investigation into Lani Starks harassment crimes are now in motion with the cyber-bullying divisions of local and federal authorities in two states. This includes the Maui County Police Department, Maui FBI, Maui Prosecuting Attorneys Office and similar authorities in the State of California. Many of her victims are fully cooperating in this criminal investigation launched on behalf of the innocent victims and businesses that have allegedly been cruelly targeted, slandered, libeled, harassed and defamed. The names of the victims are on file and the list of cyber-bullying victims continues to grow with each new day of the investigation. Meanwhile, it looks like Lani is continuing to post false allegations, single handedly ruining the lives of decent citizens, who to the amazement of investigators, never wronged her. In many cases, it was Lani who harmed them.

Lani Stark clearly understands the devastating impact of these bogus posts (she herself was the recipient of one such post over 2 years ago). If all that is being uncovered is true, she is purposely and maliciously ruining lives with zero remorse. On file are current results of the investigation, including actual documents with proof that point to Lani Stark's vengeful participation. The evidence has been supplied to proper authorities, and will be made available to anyone who thinks they may also be a victim of Lani's vicious posts.

Using outrageous accusations, Lani Starks alleged posts are vicious attacks filled with lies that have no basis in reality. These false allegations are so severe, they go for the jugular to ruin innocent peoples lives. In numerous cases, she allegedly posed as best selling author, Jack Canfield (A CRIMINAL OFFENSE), (who has sold over 100 million Chicken Soup for the Soul books), with unspeakable allegations such as embezzlement, fraud, and molestation, and brutal attacks of a personal nature using words like s**t, huge ugly pig, Son of Satan, in an attempt to ruin reputations and careers in one fell blow!

Some of the aliases used on these posts are, "Jack A. Canfield of Bererly Hills" (her misspelling), "Sammy Davy" of Haiku Hawaii, "Max" of Venice Arizona, "Mom of Two, "mele888" of Venice USA, lilith888, and the list goes on. If you have been similarly harmed, please contact us right away and file your report with the Maui Police Department or law enforcement in your state.

Lani Starr is a very disturbed person. All I can say. When my daughter stopped taking her "vocal lessons" because she was suffering from sore throats after those "lessons," she started filing rip off reports on me and my partner, and we always paid her.

I remember reading about Brian Evans' shows here on Maui, and I never heard anything bad about them. I attended his presentation of "MOS DEF," and it was really great. I'd love to give a glowing review about MOS's show, but I realize that's not what this posting, or site, is about. All I do know is, Brian put on a really good show.

As I work for Brian Evans, please list the names of the group of people you "represent" so that we can immediately deal with any situation. Let me guess: You won't.

"Jennifer Lo" is a name this poster has used several times to list negative remarks about Brian Evans. Her real name is Lani Starr of Maui, Hawaii.

After illegally using registered trademarks of the Grammy's (she was telling people she was a "Grammy winning vocal coach," for which there is no such category), she was fired from working as an assistant for The Maui Celebrity Series, a concert series Brian Evans produced.

In retaliation (and because no one else will listen to her insanity), she posts these things on Rip Off Report.

Anyone who has any doubt of this need only contact the Hawaii Department of Labor, whom has already santioned and fined Lani Starr for deceptive business practices.

She simply cannot stop defaming Brian due to her own failed career.

And she's apparently a Yankee fan, haha.

I know her, as I am the one who dealt with her.
