Two innocent 10 day old puppies were brutally murdered by the Bridgeport Police, The cronies of scandalous Bridgeport Mayor Finch and his cronies named Charlie Carroll of the Public Utilities Office and Officer Brian McCarthy, among others, who were involved in the heinous criminal act.

This felony took place on Friday, July 24th, 2009.

A Bridgeport Animal Shelter worker heard crying coming from a floor drain in the cage of the newborn puppies. A call at 8am that morning from the shelter was made to plumbers and other workers to investigate the matter.

The workers on the scene had a web camera that showed the puppies alive and crying, and even licking the water in the pipe. They were clearly viable, alive and very scared to be in that drain pipe-- as anyone would certainly be.

You can hear the cries and whimpers on the tape that the plumber recorded.

The workers offered the Bridgeport Animal Shelter to do the work free of charge in order to help these puppies. They would have had to cut open a small portion of the floor to get to the puppies who were approximately 6 feet down. The volunteer workers offered to also do all of the repairs to the cement floor free of charge as well.

This entire rescue would have taken no more than 2 hours from start to finish.

However, from early in the morning at this shelter to 2:30pm that afternoon, the plumbers were stalled endlessly with bureaucratic apathy from both the Mayor's office and the Public Utilities Office-- who never bothered to answer the emergency call from that morning until after their lunch hour.

The disinterested bureaucrats, who have a long history of corruption and disregard for animals, child welfare, and other important things like balancing their city budget, etc., never bothered to bring themselves to the shelter to see the emergency for themselves.

Instead, they ordered that the plumbers and volunteer workers at the scene be removed from the Bridgeport Animal Shelter after gathering minimal information on the matter.

The shocking decision was made to simply leave the suffering animals inside the pipe [who had now been in the pipe from 8am to 2:30/3:00pm at this point-- 6 hours of 'waiting' to get the okay to open the floor].

The puppies were now going to be killed in one of the most insanely criminal practices that anyone could think of...

Connecticut news 12 is called to the scene as the workers are evicted from the premises after being told that the decision to pulverize the two animals to death with a high velocity, 3,000 pound pressure water hose... and then force their bodily remains with the water pressure into the sewer.

Disbelief was clearly the reaction by several volunteers, plumbers, and even other city employees at this inhumane decision.

The efforts by the plumber and other decent people on the scene to negotiate trying to save the puppies were ignored and dismissed.

The plumbers were then threatened by the police that if the floor was opened to get to the puppies, then they would arrest the plumbers for damage to government property!

The criminals, in this case, are the very police officers that you would expect to uphold the law, and not circumvent it. The threats to arrest anyone who stood in their way to murder these puppies is beneath contempt both morally and ethically.

But even more importantly, the crime they chose consciously to commit in the murder of two animals that could have been easily saved is a Felony and a serious violation of the Connecticut Statutes on Animal Welfare.

This abuse of power and now the cover-up maneuvering the police, the mayor, and public utilities manager are taking part in is sociopathic, arrogant, narcissistic, and corrupt.

The psychological game-playing that the offices of these criminals are now trying to orchestrate in order to avoid any proper investigation and certainly any arrests and jail time for the responsible individuals is desperate and clearly obvious.

The unnecessary, brutal, horrible deaths of these innocent and helpless puppies is traumatizing for the citizens of Connecticut. It has been disturbing for all who have learned of this wretched situation as this story has spread to other animal rescue agencies across state lines and is quickly becoming a national story of heartbreak.

Bridgeport, CT, has a long history of corruption. It is located in the northern tip of Fairfield County, which is one of the most affluent counties in America. Bridgeport is the oddity in its lack of elegance and wealth, and has suffered many setbacks with crime and drugs being constant issues.

Given the fact that this town/city sits so close in proximity to such wealthy neighbors, you would think that they would find it beneficial to clean up their act.

The decision to not open the floor and to deny the volunteer plumbers the opportunity to save lives that day was not based on economic reasons since the plumbers were offering to do everything for free.

I believe that this decision was a testament to the complete disregard the city has for the most innocent living beings among us... so why are they left in charge of an Animal Shelter in the first place? Why have unqualified people running a very important city service to the community?

In addition, the arrogant disregard that the mayor and his cronies have for the taxpayer whose very hard earned taxes provide the paychecks for these criminals to totally ignore their voices is unacceptable.

The people involved in this case need to be prosecuted.

Fines and jail time, along with terminations must happen.

A felony is a felony. Breaking the law is breaking the law.

The obstruction of justice that the mayor's office is now in the process of creating is yet another flagrant disregard for the law. They have no intention of prosecuting their buddies and no intention of acknowledging the stupidity and the ineptness of their own city employees.

The citizens of Connecticut have been met with total hostility and stone walling when they write letters or when they call the mayor's office and the police of Bridgeport. It is a true and tragic case of the fox sitting inside the hen house.

Thus, we have had to seek a much higher and more powerful office to start the truthful investigations and legal prosecutions against these city municipal employees involved in the brutal murders of these two puppies.

The crime of police brutality has now reached a new, all-time low of mutilating and murdering innocent animals.

What is equally disturbing to watch on the News 12 report is the facial and body language of the police and of the water hose company workers. Their pious, self-righteous stances are chilling. Similar to the photographs and footage of n**i soldiers that I studied in College.

Many outraged citizens are calling for the terminations of the mayor, and the chief of police, along with the public utilities manager-- all of whom share equal responsibility in making the final decision to knowingly break the law.

Take Action. Please contact your state senator and the Connecticut Attorney General's office to start this necessary process.

It will happen again, and it most likely has happened in the past-- but this time they just got caught on tape because someone had the gumption to call a news channel to document this crime.

Let us seek justice as a tribute to the two puppies and to all of the animals who have suffered at the hands of the very public officials who are paid to protect them.

May change in policy and active taxpayer awareness come from this.
