Bright Now Dental You gave me quote without consulting my insurance, then that should be final cost. Don't ask me more. chandler Arizona

I had broken tooth very back and started to bother me, so I wanted to pull it out. I checked with Dental insurance to get PPO member dentist. Bright Now Dental was one of them. I went to the office and double checked with them whether they are. One of staff told me yes. They gave me several treatment/procedures recommendation up to $1000, the maximum allowed spending cost. But I really needed my tooth pullout, not any of these recommendations. On 02/13/16, after the dentist examined my tooth, he told me about the option having implant later. I asked him the cost. He told me $400. I thought it could be reasonable price. Then he told me I need to do bone graft right after I pull out my tooth to reserve the space because the skin will start to heal. So, I asked them to contact my insurance and give me pre-estimate. They told me I have good insurance, so I only need to pay $73.80 patient portion. I thought that is reasonable cost.  After procedure, I paid all patient payment for the service I received on that day.

Everything went well until 3/15 when I received email from my insurance saying that I have claim of $630. My insurance statement says that I have to pay full amount for the bone graft. I called my insurance to inquire about this. They told me my insurance doesn't cover for this and the dentist office never called them to ask about bone graft coverage. Also one of representatives mentioned that the dentist is not even in-network.

I went to the dental office on 3/16/16 to figure out why they lied to me that they contacted my insurance when they didn’t.  A staff still lied to me she did contact my insurance and they told her I am covered. Later on, I asked for proof that they contacted my insurance. They don’t have any record on that day, and no document they showed to me indicate that Bone graft is covered.

I also asked about providing me non-PPO member when I ask them whether they are part of PPO member and charged me more than I should paid for tooth extraction. Another staff told me the price on my estimate doesn't reflect real price. This doesn't make sense at all. Was she saying that the estimate they give is based on lie? In the end, they had lied to me about almost everything.

Now they threaten me that they are going to send the bill to Collection Company. They lie to me and now they are going to ruin my credit? I had to pay for their lie?

This place is obvious scammer manipulating my decision into their way and finally make me responsible no matter what they do (lie).

I requested for them to contact my insurance to quote, but they didn’t and gave me the quote by their own deceiving way, then that should be the amount I need to pay as patient portion. I agreed to pay $73.80.
