We bought our doberman as a puppy from Britton Farms Dobermans. Knowing the history of dobermans heart issues, I asked him about his dogs' hearts and if there were any problems. He told me all the dogs' hearts are "checked" and he has not had any dog with a heart problem. I was surprised to read another Ripoff Report about him concerning the same issue I had with my dog. My dog, Duke, was very active and the love of my life. Duke, only 2 years old, died today, fairly quickly thank goodness.
The x-rays and diagnostic workups showed massive heart failure, a hugely enlarge heart, and lungs filled with fluid. This breaks my heart and I now know, from another RipOff report, that this man had dogs with heart histories, and knew it, but lied to me about it. This is such a heartbreaking shock because my dog was beautiful, smart, loyal, and a wonderful companion. I wanted to warn others not to buy a doberman from Britton Farms Dobermans.

I have purchased 2 different dobermans from Britton Farms dobermans. I did ton's of research and it is clear that Britton Frams Dobermans has the highest quality dobermans in America. I actually flew down to Texas to look at there facility. The facility was wonderful, and the owners are good Christian People. They actually cooked dinner for me and treated me like I had known them all my life. They are more knowledgable about dobermans than anyone in America in my opinion. They are kind, fair, caring, clean, and genuinally care for their dogs and clients. If anyone posts a bad review on Britton Farms Dobermans then you can be rest assured it is not the truth. Britton Farms Dobermans is by far and away the best doberman breeder in America. They can use me for a reference anytime.

So sorry to hear about you bad experience and losing your best friend. We have had our dobermans from Britton Farms for 10 years with no serious issues. We love our babies and have had an amazing 10 years with them.
