We got ripped off In this place!! Bought a camcorder for $600 it was a toshiba and the sales person said it was d best model etc .. Next day same camcorder was advertised in a shop window further up the road for $119!! We went back to get a refund but they do not accept that only exchanges. And we realized the products are either priced very high and they pretend to give u a discount but before we made our complaint

I went in d shop to ask for a price of a different camcorder and when my husband went it to enquire about the same camcorder they gave him a different price. We then realized they were inventing their prices and staff change all d time so when u argue that in d morning they quoted a different price, they shrug u off and say impossible and to go back d next day and speak to d person in d morning. But they always come up with a different excuse. We then exchanged d camcorder to a different model and brand with extra features which seemed to b of higher value just so that we try and get our money's worth.

We even told d police what was going on and they wanted to come along with us to check out d shop and even they to,d us not to trust these electronics shops in times sq. unfortunately d police could not do much to help since the shop policy was no refunds however they helped catch other customers attention and I made sure everyone in d shop knew that they were not to b trusted. The police also suggested to write my complaint on the better business bureau website. He said that when outlets get so many complaints filed through d site, d authorities can check it out and withhold their license.
