I placed an order on 10/07/12 for around $70 with shipping. All items appeared in the cart and I completed the order by adding my details and payment information. Once the order was processed, the onscreen order details page showed that only one of the items totaling a wopping $2.00 was the only item on the order. I of course didn't want to pay $8.00 in shipping on a single item when the Bud-K shopping cart system had obviously made an error.

I contacted Bud-k by email 2 minutes after I placed the order, since it was on a sunday but never receive a response. I called back at around 10:00AM on Monday to report their system error and cancel the order so that I could reorder my list of items. I was told that they couldn't do anything since the order was already in the warehouse and that I could return it minus the $8.00 shipping which I would have to eat. My entire issue was not wanting to have to pay shipping so that didn't help me.

I requested to speak to someone else since I didn't feel it was fair to pay for anything since it was a system error on their side. I was told by the manager that there was nothing that I could do. I told them that this was an error and was a fraudulent charge since it wasn't what I ordered and that I would have to contact my bank. The manager which I could barely understand told me that if I did that then I would be flagged as a BAD CUSTOMER and that I wouldn't be able to order from them again. She was actually saying that the fact that I wanted to not be RIPPED OFF by them would make me a bad customer and a bad person.

I have ordered from Bud-k multiple times over the years and had fine service but this was their mess up and a true RIP OFF on their side. I am a web systems engineer and the fact that they are using ASP for a shopping cart system is scary alone so:

 DO NOT BUY FROM THE WEBSITE, IT IS NOT SECURE AND DON'T TRUST THE CUSTOMER SERVICE!
