Budget Ryder rip-off. They made us pay for all damages done to their beat-up truck while we had it AND BEFORE. We didn't do the damage, but we had to pay. Nationwide

Watch out!

We were giving a beat-up truck and took it because it was the only one left. After we loaded it up we discovered that it had holes in the roof that nearly damaged everything we own - including our piano. When we turned it in and told them about the problems, they apologized, BUT THREE MONTHS later we received a bill for $800 with the explanation that since we didn't purchase the $100 insurance we were responsible for all damages done to the truck while we had it AND BEFORE.

The corporate office was extrememly rude from the get-go and accused us of lying. Just be sure you make note of EVERY little scrape and hole of those broken down heaps of a truck they give you and hope that there wasn't something you couldn't possibly have seen!

OR better yet - DON'T RENT FROM BUDGET RYDER
