This contractor started out immediately by breaching the contract and attempting to conceal the known termites on the siding portion of the job. As the work progressed, more and more damage was done to the property. Rather than complete the job, the contractor tried to use litigation to get out of it by suing for payment. The job was ultimately abandoned last Summer leaving me with tens of thousands in repairs and lots of legal bills as the case progresses through the courts.

This dispute was settled out of court on 11/14/08. The homeowner was ordered by the judge at the settlement hearing to make no further comments regarding this case on websites such as this. The only penalty
A New View Windows and Doors, Inc. may receive after review of the job by the Contractor's State License Board is related to the type of contract used which was not detailed enough and did not include change orders.
This job was permitted in the city of Yorba Linda and passed every inspection, including a final inspection.
Our company has a AAA rating with the Better Business Bureau and an active and clean contractor's license. We have been in business for 8 years and have thousands of satisfied customers. 60% of our business is referral and repeat business.
We were advised by our lawyer to settle out of court, even though we were confident that we would have won the case, because the court costs would have been more than the homeowner owed us to begin with.
