In Aug 2005 I was suckered into getting a kitchen upgrade. From the beginning of the job I knew I was going to have problems. I wanted a full backsplash - they delivered the 4" backsplash. They were not going to do the cabinets - refinish them - because according to the installers it was not ordered. Once I showed them the orders that I had, they called the company and got into a yelling match with someone over the phone. A job that was suppose to take a couple of days took two weeks - and counting. The installers did nothing by complain about how Erie treated their customers let alone the workers.

Here it is 2008 and I am still trying to get Erie back out to my house to correct all of the problems that their installers did. Someone did come out to the house last September. Took pictures (I did) and everything. Then in November I had someone call me and say that they were going to come out and fix my kitchen. I didn't bother holding my breath - been through this too many times. Needless to say, the guy didn't show up.

He called back the beginning of December and again set up a time to come and fix the kitchen. Again he didn't show up. Third and last time he called, set an appointment with me and then didn't bother showing up. I called and left a message for him asking if he was ever going to make an appointment with me and then actually keep it. Never heard from him again.

I called the Dayton Office and talked with Mike. He said that he would leave a message for the Manager of Installation. That was back in January. Still waiting. Tried calling their customer support person (Connie), but there is only a message that she will be out of the office until March 3. This is March 13, and the message is still on.

Since I already paid $8,000.00 for this so called "new kitchen", I would like it fixed so that I can enjoy the kitchen.

If someone were to ask me if I would recommend a company to them for home improvements I WOULD NEVER IN A MILLION YEARS RECOMMEND A COMPANY THAT TREATS THEIR CUSTOMERS LIKE GARBAGE. I would tell them to go to Lowe's or Home Depot.
